The Playlist

Intro

With heavy breaths, I gave my signature grin and wink to the audience. And there, I heard their screams. Ahh, this is so fulfilling. Glad that I chose this path, my passion.

"More! More! More!" People shouted.

Napatawa naman ako. Damn, these people love me!

Nilapit ko ang aking bibig sa mikropono at sumagot sa request nila.

"Hey people!" I winked at them once again. And again, they went wild.

"Omg, Rae, I love you so much!"

"Shet straight ako pero akin ka nalang please?"

"Bebe Rae, buntisin mo ako!"

Humagalpak naman ako ng tawa sa mga narinig kong sigaw ng mga babaeng audience. Ang wild talaga nila kahit kailan. 'Yong mga lalaking audience naman, pasimpleng hagod lang ng tingin sa buong katawan ko. Some looked in daze while looking at me. I smirked. Meron talaga akong epekto sa kanila, mapa-babae man o lalake.

"I'd love to stay longer and sing to you, but I'm afraid I'll be late for an appointment."

They grunted as a sign of disappointment. Napangiti naman ako.

"I'm really sorry, I promise to make it up to y'all next time--"

"Strip muna!"

Imbes na mabastos, tumawa nalang ako.

"Oo nga!"

"Strip, Raegaaan!"

At nagsunod-sunod na nga ang sigawan nila. And who am I para ipagkait sa kanila ang gusto nila?

I removed my white tank top. Good thing I was wearing a sports bra under.

And the crowd went wilder than you can imagine. The ladies kept  shouting, I also heard whistles from here and there.

"May I go now?" Natatawa kong sabi.

"Nooooo!"

"Please stay!"

"Strip again, Rae!"

I shook my head and took a peek on my watch.

"I really have to go people. Love ya'll!"

After that, I gave them a flying kiss then left.

I was gifted with a good voice, beauty that can capture anyone's heart, and a body to die for. In this industry, talent is not enough. You need more than that to succeed.

I'm hella one lucky person to survive.

Habang kinakapa ko ang mga bulsa ko para hanapin ang susi ng sasakyan, I heard someone call me.

"Hey.."

Lumingon ako sa taong tumawag sa'kin.

"Yes?" I gave him a smile. I can't see him clearly because this part of the bar is dark. His voice and built  is kinda familiar, though.

Nagulat ako nang may iabot itong kulay asul na hoodie.

"Wear it. You might catch a cold."

I unconsciously accepted it, and before I knew it, he's gone.

Na-wirduhan man, sinuot ko na rin ito dahil nilalamig na ako.
