"Neo hogshi molla gyeonggo haneunde!..."
I awakened to the high volume of my favorite EXO-K song, Growl, on my mp3 player.
As I willed myself out of my comfortable bed sheets, I slipped on a pair of fuzzy house slippers, took my mp3 player with me, and got into my kitchen for a nice cup of coffee.
The smell of coffee wakes me up better than any hot refreshing shower in the morning. Stretching my arms and legs, I took a sip of my freshly brewed coffee and relaxed into my chair.
The sound of my phone rang out suddenly in my room.
I slowly walked to my room and found my cell phone lying on the end table next to my bed.
I unlocked my phone and found one new message. Once again, Xiumin messaged me.
Hey. I'm stopping by. I have practice later today and need some of your "love energy" coffee to give me strength for this long day. You don't mind, do you?
Love, Xiumin
P.S. You never told me your name. Sorry, I didn't ask. It was rude of me.
The message brought a smile to my face and then I realized my mistake. I forgot to tell him my name because I was too engrossed in our conversation to even introduce myself the other day. I quickly texted him back.
No...don't worry. It's my fault, really. I got lost in our conversation. And no I really don't mind if you come in to the cafe. I'll try my best to make you one of my best "love" coffees. Really, it's no trouble.
Sonia
I then proceeded to take a hot shower and get ready to prepare to open up the cafe for the day.....
-30 minutes later-
I walked from my apartment to Dream Castle Cafe. It's actually not that far and one plus to it is that I don't have to take a bus.
The streets buzzed with a familiar atmosphere, Korean businessmen and women in solid monochromatic suits and dresses stopping at the cafes for breakfast. Everyone looked joyous, as food and morning coffee is the only excitement one could have for a long workday. My cafe is opposite of many other food businesses in the business district of Seoul specifically for food lovers. Brightly colored billboards plastered high above the buildings, towering over the people like ants, as high as the stars.
I looked up and saw that EXO had taken a huge billboard out of all of them, promoting their new 2014 2nd mini album OVERDOSE. Xiumin, Kai, Baekhyun, Tao, Chen, Lay, Suho, and the rest of the eleven members were present on the large billboard before me. Their faces were stoic, as if thoughtfully looking at their fans. They wore long white dress shirts delicately draped over their wide shoulders and chests.
I saw that Xiumin looked over into some other place, his smokey eyes sleepily looking over into another world. I noticed his soft features even more, the blown up photo of him for me to scrutinize to my liking. His brows were furrowed and his lips pursed, making me focus on his face among all the other members. I couldn't believe the person I saw in front of me is the person that I saw just the other day in the cafe.
Hurriedly, I walked over to the cafe to open it. Turning the sign over, I walked right in to the cafe. The features of the cafe from the outside stood out prominently, a bubbly pink text outlined in baby blue, Dream Castle. There were fresh flowers out the cafe windows, roses, daisies, and sunflowers I lovingly watered every day to look bright and healthy. They added to the cafe's appeal, love sprouting from seeds, enhancing the cafe's theme.
