You were at your formal black dress that your father gave you. You sat down at the last row to avoid trouble. Your father approached Irons like a brother.

Your father's company and Irons' company were partners for nearly a decade.

Your father told you about his son. He would allow Will Irons to marry you. However, he died before you could wake up.

Your father accompanied Irons to the last row for your introduction. You felt a pairs eyes staring at you. You were a bit nervous.

You heard whispers of people about you. They heard about you because of your operation. Your guts were right and everything would not go so well.

A man sat beside you. He was wearing a formal uniform. You were a bit nervous why chose the seat beside you.

You gave him a shy smile. He just smiled back.

"Hey, I see you are Y/f/n's daughter," he observed.

You nodded.

Obviously, he knew about you because of the gossips around. Your mind was set because of that.

"Ignore those gossips. They don't like androids because of their abilities. To make it short, they are jealous of you," he explained.

That gave you warmth from the cold rain. His speech was rather warm. He is smart and brilliant for you.

"One question, who is Will Irons to you," you asked.

That question struck the man. Will Irons was his best friend. He didn't accept the loss of it.

He was silent at first.

You are curious, but it left a chill in his spine. He thought it was unfair. A man dead and another man spared. He was confused and lost.

You sensed the pain in his heart. You read his emotions a bit. You felt guilty in asking that question.

"I'm so sorry I asked that question." you apologized, dipping you head down in guilt.

"I was his best friend," he answered.

You saw he was deeply affected by the death. You put a hand on his shoulder in comfort.

You sighed. "His sacrifice is useless, if you don't do something with it,"

You decided to change the whole topic without making it so awkward. You thought of something that caught your attention. You didn't know his name yet.

"Okay, what's your name," you asked.

"Jack Mitchell," he answered.

"Y/n," you replied, as you were about to shake his hand.

Your dad intervened. "So, you met Will's best friend,"

You nodded.

You both stood up together. He shook your father's hand as you shook Irons. You observed he was still holding a card. Then, your dad and Irons talked again like brothers.

"Don't worry about things, Jack. You will be used to it. Just remember what I just said," you said.

Your father was about to leave. He went straight to the car without waiting for you. Your bodyguard gently grabbed you by the arm.

"Mistress, let's go," he whispered.

You nodded.

You didn't want to leave for just this reason. Also, you didn't want your father angry. You waved goodbye at Mitchell and smiled as you went away with your bodyguard.

Well, he was convinced at what you just said to him. He smiled, putting a thought at it. He wanted to see you again.
