You and your friends were walking to school. They were recently talking about the lockdown the school experienced last week due to the gunshots they heard.

"So, the lockdown was all about drugs," you asked, slightly confused about the topic.

Well, if the school announced the lockdown, then your father, Thomas Merrick, wouldn't be here to help you. Being a member of the Ghosts, he would frequently be on work.

So frequent that he didn't know your activity at school. Your mother was rather busy with the aids she had given to your father.

"Ms. Merrick!" Your English teacher called out, coming near you.

"Yes, Mrs. Mower," you replied, shocked.

She was the worst teacher for you. She would find when you are in need to be hidden for a while. She would scare you in bathrooms, leaving you in a traumatized estate.

Now that she called you, the thought of the restroom incident was still in your mind. If this woman joined you as an assassin, she would assassinate you by scaring you to death.

You saw a bullet passed by her form. Luckily, none of you were hit by the bullet. Now, she had to be alert that the criminal almost shot her.

"Mrs. Mower, I think you should seek cover. A bullet just missed you," you said calmly.

It was calm, but dangerous. You weren't like other girls in the school who would scream. You pulled her and dragged her to cover. She began panicking because of the action you had done.

"Ms. Merrick, I will send you-"

A sensitive teacher hated to be touched by other people. You just imagined her being touched by a police and hated the protective touch.

"Which is valuable? Me in the principal's office or you being left dead?" you asked angrily, your eyes narrowing.

She soon became silent with your tone. She hated you angry, but sometimes she had to force your patience up.

"Okay, Andy, you brought the sniper rifle," you asked.

He nodded as he flung the bag up to the air.

His father owned a lot of guns. He just stole it from his armory. Chances was you got caught by using the gun or all innocent people dead.

"Y/n, plan," one of your friend screamed.

"Okay, you wait here for help. Meanwhile, I will setup the sniper rifle," you instructed.

You sprinted for the tall tree and climbed up. You fixed the sniper rifle and held it with all your strength. It was your first time to hold a sniper rifle.

You followed the scope. Your eyes caught the gunman. You steadied your target and pulled the trigger. It hit the glass. Frustration filled your mind. You needed to focus on the hole you just put.

You shot the second bullet at his shoulder. He cursed something in his breath. He pulled out a grenade out of his pocket.

Is he insane?

You pulled the trigger when you steadied for his head. You shot him dead and his corpse fell. You sighed in triumph.

One of your friends observed that all of gunman's accomplices was aiming their guns at you. It wasn't that hard to notice. So, you immediately climbed down. They began shooting the tree. A bullet hit the branch near your hand because of that you let go of the grip. You fell off the tree and landed on the ground with hands bracing your back.

You recognized those hands and shrugged. You knew it was your Hesh's. You blushed slightly because he was your crush in high school. He put you down gently.

"I think you got into trouble," he said, eyeing the sniper rifle on your shoulder.

You rolled your eyes in irritation. "Obviously,"

You heard sirens nearby. You and Hesh left the scene as quickly as possible. You met Andy and gave him the sniper rifle back.

He smiled as if it was the end.

"Never do that again," Hesh said coldly.

That was a blunt way to say it. You hated people being blunt towards you.

"I saved those people, Hesh," you argued.

You weren't allowing his bluntness to continue to consume your day. Also, it was your first time arguing with Hesh.

"Not without the police and Andy," he said sourly.

"Yeah, yeah," you said with a twist of realization.
