'you must give up the life you had planned.. in order to live the life that's waiting for you. I thought I knew what that meant, I didn't.. until I met you.' as Ezra spoke those words Aria got shivers. It was quite dangerous of him to aim his words at her. But nobody seemed to notice. The bell rang and everyone got up, Aria thought it was kind of cute how he awkwardly thanked everybody for the book they gifted him. Aria waited for everybody to be gone and she turned to him 'that was a little dangerous of you..' and she bit her lip. 'it was also a little true' he answered. Aria was still amazed by how he manages to choose his words so well in every situation. He smiled at her like he knew what she was thinking. 'I must go..' She said with an obvious doubt. 'you probably should'
Aria sat down in the canteen, the day had been so weird. She didn't know what to think of it. Ezra was really leaving.. He gave up his beloved job just so he could be with her. She looked around, people were leaving. It was raining like hell outside. Not that she didn't like rain. No, she loved it. But this day.. she couldn't love anything. Because she loved Ezra even more today than she did yesterday, And yesterday she loved him more than she did the day before. She thought about how they met. How crazy their lovestory was, and still is. But in the end.. it's all about love. At least, that's what they say. Things were going great. Then.. why did it feel like she missed something? Something important. As she was brainstorming over this, time passed by. 1 hour.. 2 hours.. right at the moment the last student had left the building she realized what she missed.
Aria got up and she ran down the empty hallways of Rosewood High. She stepped into the English Classroom, it was completely empty. She looked around. the chairs were pulled up to the desks. The teacher's desk was empty, fully cleared. She looked up to the blackboard; Goodbye Mr Fitz! it said. She could see the parking lot throug the window. There was one car left. It didn't take her long to realize whose property it was. She started running again. She ran to the parking lot where Ezra was busily putting his stuff from the cleared desk in his trunk. 'Ezra!' He looked up. When he saw Aria his face took on a big smile. Aria jumped in his arms and she kissed him. He lifted her up and kissed her back. And as the sun broke through she realized that people were right. This was all about love. No matter who they were, no matter what the age difference was, no matter how they looked. We all deserve to love and to be loved. And Aria knew that Ezra felt the same way about that. And that's where their special connection was rooted from.
