'Up to speak now is.. Jenna Marshall.' the priest spoke loudly. His voice echoed through the church. Spencer, Hanna and Emily looked at Aria with shocked faces. Aria didn't move a muscle. Jenna got up and walked towards the priest. You could hear the sound of her stick, it echoed through the church. Every time it hit the ground Aria flinched a little. What was that girl going to say? She turned around. She took a deep breath; ' I am here today, to talk about Jason as a friend.' Spencer poked Aria in her flank. 'what?' she whispered. Aria didn't react. She kept on listening. 'Not only was he kind, he was also loving, and endearing..' she said it without a doubt. Kind? Aria smiled sarcastically, pwa! kind! oh sure he was kind..

This -A was crazy! He grabbed her hands and tied them on her back. She couldn't move them anymore. He then put a piece of tape on her mouth. 'Shut up, or I'll burn your face!' -A said.

loving.. Yes he was, maybe too much. And Aria, more than anybody else had experienced that love.

Jason was grinning; 'I am doing this Aria because I love you, from the moment you first walked through our door I have loved you.'

that wasn't love, what she had with Ezra: that was love. But Jason, Aria knew that he wasn't the victim here. But she felt guilty. So damn guilty. Because if it wasn't for her, he would still be alive. Jenna continued. 'He was always so gentle towards me, he was gentle towards everyone, really. But what made him extra special was that he never lost his childlike sense of wonder.' Aria's jaw dropped. gentle? GENTLE? This girl had to be kidding..

Jason was standing behind him. He pulled Ezra towards him and held a knife at his throat. Ezra's eyes widened and he held his breath. Aria was paralyzed. Jason was grinning.

Aria was sure Jenna would be calling him genuine anytime soon, maybe even moral. This was crazy. this whole town was messed up and she jumped right into it. Ezra who was sitting beside Aria grabbed her hand and squeezed it. He quickly gave her a little kiss on her forehead. It could've been him in that casket.. Aria squeezed back. in that room.. for a second she thought Ezra was going to die. he was almost dead! the love of her life was almost dead!

'Jason.. please.. don't..Jason.. do you even hear anything I say? Jason!' she cried, panicked and begged. Jason didn't even look at her. He gazed at the flames, almost drowning into them. Aria saw no escape anymore, not for Ezra, not for herself.

Aria just wanted to sit in bed all day and cry. Jason was dead because of her.. what was she even doing at his funeral? What was she thinking? Her mom even said that she could've stayed home if she wanted to but no, Aria insisted on going there and she now regretted it. Jenna went on.. 'He liked to play games.. lots of games.. scrabble, Yahtzee, monopoly.. his favorite was risk. He liked winning, He always did the unexpected.' the last part echoed in Aria's head. He always did the unexpected.. that was the only thing Jenna was right about. he did do the unexpected.

Ezra wrapped his fingers around the box in his pocket, He held onto it tightly as the knife came down. 'JASON!' Aria screamed. Aria gasped and covered her mouth with her hands as the knife slashed through flesh and bone. Jason's eyes widened, only to turn white. He fell down on his knees, his hands were shaking. Blood was pouring out of his chest, the knife was sticking out. 'it's all your fault..' he mouthed at Aria. His eyes closed. Ezra got out of his trance and realized what had happened. He quickly got up and ran to Aria who hugged him tightly. Tears were running down her face. 'Jason.. ' she sniffled. 'Aria we have to get out of here' Ezra said worried. Right at that moment the wall was slashed through. a firefighter was standing in the gap 'I found them!' he yelled. Sirens were blaring outside. Aria had started to see black spots. the lights went out in her head and she fainted. Ezra caught her. He picked her up and carried her outside. he kissed her on the forehead. while checking his pocket. He still had a little box in one. it contained a ring.
