PROLOGUE

As I woke up I heard the snores of everyone in the nursery. "Ravenkit are you wake." Shadowkit whispered. " Yes Shadowkit I'm up do you want to go play?" I asked. " Yes!" said Shadowkit excitedly. " Let's go explore the camp." I proposed. " Let's go to the medicine den first ok Ravenkit." said Shadowkit. Then I nodded and then we raced out of the nursery quietly. As we headed to the medicine den we heard Berrycloud paw steps. "Berrycloud can we come in?" I asked. " Yes who is it?" asked Berrycloud . "It's Shadowkit and Ravenkit." said Shadowkit. Then we came in after Berrycloud said it was ok. Then when we started to ask Berrycloud some questions about the medicine den her voice got deeper and creepier and she started to say something
"Beware of the one you think you can trust. Beware that you might lose more than you think. Beware of the shadows in the wind. The light and dark will forge together to make a new age." said Berrycloud. Then she went back to normal with the look of worry in her eyes and said " Go to the nursery for right now ok Shadowkit and Ravenkit." said Berrycloud. " Okay Berrycloud!" we both said scared at the same time and then we ran of.After we ran out we ran into Spidereye and he said.
"What are you little guys running from?" he asked. "Berrycloud just said some weird things and told us nicely to go back to the nursery." I said. "Oh ok let me go talk to her and Adderstar." said Spidereye. It's been one moon since Berrycloud got all creepy but that was in the past. That's when the clan leader called a clan meeting and said " We are going to send a patrol to drive out a fox in our territory. Then DaisyStep said " I'm going on the patrol to drive out the fox so it doesn't hurt you and Shadowkit." After DaisyStep left to go drive out the fox in their territory the patrol got back but they were carrying a dead body and when I got closer I saw that the dead body was his mother DaisyStep. "Mom.....?"
