I sat at my laptop as I watched the clock hands slowly make it's journey around the clock face, my pen tapping on the desk as I anticipated the ringing of the school bell in which I could free the students from the classroom...

And then I could finally release the inner shahniqua...

*bell rings*

It took every fibre in my skinny legend body to not keep my set 3 year 11 class behind to show them the sacred image of my wholesome holiday cats but I could feel shahniqua lingering behind me, waiting and waiting, for the lesson to end. I know they know...
The class I mean. They have noticed; every time I talk to myself (or should I say my raging inner shahniqua) row 3 are watching. But they couldn't know...

Dismissing my bestie gang, I coiled in a hissing intake of breath (thank you Robert Louis Stevenson), I desperately span around in my chair and slammed my palms aggressively on the door behind me. What awaited for me behind that crusty door, connecting mine and Mrs Phillips' classroom, had been taunting me all day and now: all hell would break loose.
