Tension in the Air

No One's POV

Jacob rushed over to the Cullen house and Carlisle met him at the door.

"Is it true?" Jacob asks, walking straight in.

"Hello, Jacob. How are you?" Carlisle asks, closing the door.

"Listen, just give it to me straight." Jacob says to the doctor.

"Jake, is that you?" Jacob hears.

"She's here?" Jacob asks.

"They came home 2 weeks ago." Carlisle says.

Jacob rushes upstairs.

"Jake." Carlisle says, following him up the stairs.

Jacob sees Edward and Jasper standing a little ways away from the couch. Alice on the opposite side.

The Originals behind the couch. Emmett was leaned against the wall by Edward and Jasper.

Rosalie and Rebekah standing in front of Bella and Octavia by the couch. Glares on their angelic like faces.

Jacob approaches the couch, everyone watching him cautiously.

"I'm glad you came." Bella says.

"I'm not." Octavia mutters.

Jacob gets a little closer. Rosalie was quick to stop him.

"Close enough." Rosalie says.

"What's your problem?" Jacob asks.

Emmett and Klaus look at the quiluete wolf in warning.

"Rose, it's ok." Octavia says.

The female vampire steps aside while Jacob sits next to Bella and Octavia.

"You two look terrible. Bella looks worse though." Jacob says.

Bella laughs.

"Yeah... it's nice to see you, too." Bella says.

Jacob nods.

"So, you two gonna tell me what's wrong with you guys?" Jacob asks.

Bella gets nervous and looks down before turning Rosalie while Octavia turns to Rebekah.

"Rose, wanna help me up?" Bella asks.

Rosalie helps Bella up while Rebekah helps Octavia up. Bella & Octavia pull their shirts down, covering the bruises that Jacob saw.

Jacob turns to Edward and Jasper.

"You two did this!" Jacob growls, going after Edward & Jasper only to be stopped by Emmett and Klaus.

"We didn't even know this was possible." Carlisle says as Jacob moves Emmett and Klaus' hands off his shoulders.

"What are they?" Jacob asks, turning to Carlisle.

"I'm not sure. Ultrasounds and needles won't penetrate the embryonic sac for Bella." Carlisle says as Bella sits back down.

"I can't see it either." Alice says as all eyes go to her.

"And I can't see Bella's future anymore." She adds on.

Bella looks down.

"And Octavia?" Jacob asks.

"Her case is much different. Klaus and The Originals think it could be the same case as the child Octavia carries is cold one vampire and maybe all that Octavia is. I'm researching legends but there isn't much to go on. What we do know that they're both strong and fast growing." Carlisle says.

"Why haven't you done anything? Take them out of them!" Jacob shouts, getting closer to Carlisle.

Feeling protective of Carlisle, Octavia growls at Jacob with her eyes changing.

"O." Bella whispers.

Octavia calms as Jacob takes a step back from Carlisle, knowing much better than to piss off Octavia.

"This is none of your business dog." Rosalie tells Jacob.

"Rose!" Esme says.

Everyone turns to the mother figure of The Cullen Clan.

"All this fighting isn't good for Bella or Octavia." Bella says.

"The fetuses isn't good for Bella or Octavia!" Alice says.

"Say the word, Alice." Rosalie says.

"Babies. They're just innocent little babies!" Rebekah says.

"Possibly." Jasper says.

Octavia was crushed. She gave a look of disbelief to her husband. Klaus caught this and glared at Jasper.

"Carlisle, you've gotta do something." Jacob says.

"No!" Bella says.

All eyes go to her.

"It's not his decision. It's not any of yours." Octavia says.

Her green eyes locked on Jacob.

"Girls, they will kill you." Jacob says.

"Enough!" Octavia shouts, making the house go completely silent.

"Alice, when you address our children, the word you will us is baby or child, or babies or children. Jasper Whitlock, how dare you? I am beyond livid with you right now. What is inside me, is a child. Like Carlisle said, they are a fast growing children. Now, if Bella and I are stressed anymore, I will rip off the head of that person responsible!" Octavia says, authoritatively.

Everyone was completely silent.

"This is our choice! Our children we carry and will birth! Am I in anyway unclear?!" Octavia snaps.

Everyone shakes their head. Octavia tried to stand but got dizzy and almost fell but Rebekah caught her.

"Don't overexert yourself. Rest, darling." Rebekah says to her niece, having her sit next to Bella once again.

Octavia sits closer to her before taking her hand and sending her warmth throughout Bella's body.

Bella smiles and thanks her Original Tribrid sister.

Elijah fixes the girls pillows while Klaus puts a blanket on them and they smile in thanks.

"Jacob, we need to talk to you." Edward says, leaving the room with Jasper.

Jacob eventually follows him outside.
