Awkward Silence

Elena's Pov

Yaayy, finally she is coming here and she will be living with me. I felt so alone here, Sam doesn't talk much but she already told me she is introvert so I have also not tried to talk to her in last month.

After 5 days..

Currently, I am at Airport to receive her. She finds me.
"Teddy..." She yelled from far and ran into my arms. She gave me bone-breaking hug.
"Hey.. don't cry" was all I managed to say. She pulled back and it broke my heart to see her like that. I gave her last tight hug and went to cab.

We talked about how much we missed each other, though it's been only 3 Months we didn't see each other. Still I missed her.

We reached to our destination which is my apartment, soon to be our apartment.
I unlocked the door and met with those ocean eyes.
"Umm Hi Sam!" I nervously said.
"Hi" she said with no emotions.
She was not looking at me when I traversed her eyes direction I saw she was looking at my hand which was handling a suitcase.
"This is my friend's" I informed and called my friend, who appeared from doorway. They looked at each other, actually they were staring each other more than normal.
"Umm Sam!" I said nervously again. Why I get nervous around her.
She looked at me.
"She is my friend, Ria. She will be staying.."
"With you.. I know" she said by cutting me in between.
I was expecting something like hand shake or something but nothing has happened. It was just pin drop silent.
Ria took my hand in her hand and said
"can you show me room, I want to rest" I nodded and excused ourself from the awkward silence.

We are in our room. Which already have two separate beds. But I combined them together to make it big.
"Wait here, let me seaparate the beds" I said.
"No, it's okay Teddy. I like big bed and you know that I get scared when I sleep alone" she whined.
"Okay! Big bed it is" I smiled.
We lay down on bed.
"What was that?" I asked out of the blue.
"What?" She asked with confused face.
"I mean, why didn't you offer your hand to Sam" I asked out of curiosity.
"She could have also offered" she snapped.
"But.."
"But what! why are you so much bothering about this, is she your best friend now" she said with anger in her voice.
"Are you jealous?" I asked making puppy face.
"No, just insecure, I don't want to loose you" she said innocently.
"You won't" I smiled and pulled her in bear hug.
We went to our own dream lands. In my dreamland "someone was already there..."
