Cath woke to Levi shaking her shoulder, “Cather,’ he whispered, “We're here now.”  She frowned, “Have I been asleep the whole time?” “Yes,” Levi smiled,  “you look pretty when you sleep.” Cath blushed and looked down at her lap.

“Come on, Cather. We’re going for a walk.”  He said as he got down from the drivers seat and went around to the passenger’s side to help her down. “What about meeting your family?” She asked. “It's okay we will see them later. Right now we are gong for a walk. “ He said with a smile. “Okay.” She said taking his hand and jumping down from the truck. Even when she was on the ground Cath didn't let go of Levi's hand, she was surprised at this new found confidence.

Usually around Levi she was shy and nervous and would never hold someone's hand willingly, but Levi was … different. Somehow she felt relaxed near him and comfortable which was strange since she had never felt comfortable round anyone over then family and before.

Holding Levi's hand and about to meet his family she started feeling very nervous. She hated new situations and mostly new people, especially new people.

“Cather,” Levi said bringing her out of her thoughts, “You're worrying about meeting my family, aren’t you?” he looked worried, “Try not to worry, Cather. It will be fine. I promise.”“Okay…” she replied relaxing slightly, but not really.

“Come on then, Cather.” He said leading her by the hand. “Where are we going?” she asked.  “Just for a walk.” smiled Levi as they continued walking. Cath began to think about how lucky she was for having Levi. She was relived that he wasn't her roommate like she did when they first met. That would have her feeling very uncomfortable, but she was so glad that he was her boyfriend. Surprised she was having these sorts of thoughts, she kept thinking. Looking back, she remembered she never really thought she would have a boyfriend other than Able, but she realized that he was never really her boyfriend. Wren had always called him an “end table.”

“You okay, Cather?’ he said snapping her back into reality, “You’re being unusually quiet.” “Yeah I'm fine.’ She said, “Just thinking about something…” “What were you thinking about?” Levi asked smiling.

She gave him a small smile and said, “You… as always.”
