No One's Safe

Arya made it out of the Red Keep in time just before it fell. She was disappointed that she didn't get to kill Cersei herself, and part of her was mourning for The Hound. He knew his fate and he accepted it, but she was already missing his company. Arya made her way down to the dragons pit knowing it would be safest there. As she entered the pit she saw a familiar face.

"Sansa...what...what the bloody hell are you doing here?" Arya asked in disbelief. Sansa turned to Arya with her two guards beside her. "I...I thought the war would be over by now... so I came to settle boundaries for the North with the Queen. But when I heard all the screaming and fighting I came here in hopes of being safe." Sansa was terrified, she had no clue what to do. Arya stayed with her and the guards, waiting patiently for the war to come to an end.

Daenerys won the last war as she said she would. Jon looked around and his eyes met Grey Worm's. The plan was for everyone to meet at the dragons pit when the war was over. They nodded at each other and made their way to the pit. Once they arrived, they saw Tyrion arguing with Sansa and Arya. Jon couldn't believe that his sisters were here and assumed Tyrion is giving the same lecture he would give them. But right now was no time to be fighting with each other. Everyone stared at each other waiting impatiently for the dragon queen to make an appearance.

A few minutes passed and Daenerys finally landed Drogon in the pit. Drogon flew away as he made sure his mother was safe.

Daenerys opened her mouth to speak then a huge explosion happened right in the middle of them. They fell to the ground and heard more explosions happening around the city. Daenerys got up and picked up the sword from one of Sansa's dead guards. Sansa ran to the other guard's body and picked up his sword as well. No one said a word to each other and all of a sudden they heard men rushing at them.

These were mercenaries and not the Golden Company. One by one, men were rushing at them while everyone was trying to defend themselves. Dany yelled "When Drogon comes back, get on him immediately!" Jon, Grey Worm, Tyrion, Arya, and Dany were killing as much people as they could. Dany wasn't an experienced swordsman but she knew how to defend her self when it came to survival and she wasn't planning on dying. Sansa was just standing there frozen and managed to stab one person in the neck only out of panic.

Drogon was flying around when he left Dany back in King's Landing. He saw a huge green beast pulling itself out of the sea and flew right to it. It was Rhaegal, and he was alive. Rhaegal was badly wounded with the huge spears stuck in his body. Drogon used his strong jaws to clasp onto the spears and pull them out.
Drogon felt his mother's distress call and left Rhaegal there on the land to heal himself.

Drogon swiftly landed in the pit letting his wing down. "Go go!" Jon was the first one on the dragon as everyone started running towards him to get on Drogon's back.

Daenerys and Sansa were the last ones left to get on and they were sprinting as fast as they could. A mercenary tackled Sansa to the ground and started choking her. Dany turned back to look at her and had to make a decision quick, either get on Drogon's back and fly away safe or save Sansa.

In the next second Daenerys ran towards the brute and chopped off his head. Another soldier came swinging his weapon but Dany put the sword in his heart before he could do anything. She picked up Sansa from the ground and they started running. Sansa made it onto Drogon and Jon let his arm out to help Dany get on. Dany reached for his arm and then everything went black.

Everyone was shocked and did not know what to do, they were full of fear. Dany hit her head so hard onto the concrete ground as a merc picked her up and held a knife to her throat. Ten more men joined his side and pointed their swords towards the people on Drogon. Drogon roared as loud as he could and Daenerys said that one magic word..."Dracarys!" Drogon burned all the men to ashes leaving Dany in the dust of the men.

No one except Grey Worm has actually seen her withstand fire in person, so when it happened they were surprised and in shock. Jon smiled and Dany climbed onto Drogon's back. She flew them all to safety and they descended from the huge dragon. Daenerys stayed on and as Jon was about to leave he turned around and grabbed her face. He gave her a passionate kiss to the lips like it was the last time he was going to see her. She smiled at him and he caressed her cheek. "Come back to me" he told her with worry in his voice. Dany smiled then nodded at him as she lifted Drogon into the air to go back to the battlefield.
