Trance ~Shinso x reader~

Sports Festival

I walked to class. I had new and fresh cuts and no one could stop me from inflicting more. No one commented on it the whole day. "Next week will be the sports festival. I expect you to prepare ahead of time." Aizawa said. He left the class and a crowd of people apeared out of our classroom. "Out of my way extras." Bakugo told the crowd. Iida began to lecture him. I saw the purple haired boy from my apartment building at the front of the crowd. He starts to call us all egomaniacs, not that I blame him, he just met Bakugo, but not all of us are like him. "Scuse me, not all of us are assholes like Bakughoe over here. If anything, he has the biggest ego here. I think that it isn't rational to assume that all of us are exactly like him." I said and punched him unconcious. "I heard that she's the sister of the pro hero Hawks." a boy said. "Now, can you guys please leave, we would love to go home, but your blocking the exit." I said. A path was cleared and I walked through while I let my classmates through with me. I waved them goodbye and smiled warmly. The boy named Shinso followed me home but only because we live in the same apartment building. "Do you really hate my class that much?" I asked him while trying to make conversation. "You all have flashy quirks I would kill for, how can I not hate you guys?" he said. "I didn't ask for this quirk and you didn't ask for yours. You envy people's quirks just like girls judge other girls' natural beauty. Wait, what is your quirk?" I ask him. "Mind control." he said hesitantly. "That's such a cool quirk! It's a shame your not in the hero course, you would make an excellent hero!" I said. He smiled. "You really think so?" he asks. I nod. "What's your quirk?" he asked me. I showed him my quirk by triggering certain emotions in my brain but I skipped a few on purpose. "I also have fire wings, but it's difficult to use. You barely have that many draw backs of your quirk from what I can tell, you're blessed with such a good quirk!" I said. "Everybody says it's a villain's quirk though." he said. "Well then everybody's a fucking idiot. I can't save people with my quirk unless I burn the villain in some king of way and I hate to hurt misunderstood people. Unless your a murderer or torture a human being, then I'll kill someone, but you just have to ask them to turn themselves into the police! I'm so jelous!" I said. He laughed. I tried to smile, but I could almost never smile. "You are really funny, Shagikawa." he said. "Wanna be friends?" I asked him. He nodded and we got into out apartments.

Sports festival time bitches

Once Midnight called our class, we went out onto the field and waited for the other classes to enter the field. Shinso's class walked onto the field and he stood next to me. I waved and he smiled at me. I put on a black fox mask and payed attention. Why did I put on the black mask? I don't want my father to find me. I don't want to become a villain like him. I don't want to leave. Bakugo went on stage. "I just wanna say.....I'm going to beat each and every one of you." he said. Once he got back I flipped him off and looked back again. First was an opsticle course. Great. We were set inside the weird ass tunnel and we all ran on cue. I took off my jacket and I released my fire wings. I flew above most of the students and I got to the robots second. I kicked one's head off and kept on flying. Next was the falls island thing place and I tried to fly over that, but a kid with a water quirk put out my flames while I was flying. Because of this, I went plummeting down into the darkness. It reminded me of some memories I had from when I was five. I got my wings back and flew out of there. I was faced by landmines soon enough, and without hesitation, I flew as high as I could and went over the students, soon catching up with Todoroki and Bakugo. I heard a loud boom, and when I looked over, it was Midoriya on a piece of metal from the robots. I came in fourth place, and thank god I wasn't in first. I began to feel on my face for my mask, but it wasn't there. It must've fallen off during the fall. "Shit." I said under my breath. I looked over at Midoriya, Todoroki, and Bakugo. "You guys did amazing! Good work!" I said. Midoriya nodded while the others just looked down.

Next was the cavalry battle. I walked up to Shinso. "Can I be apart pf your team?" I asked him. He seemed surprised, but he nodded. "What happened to that mask?" he asked me while we were looking for other team mates. "It must've fell off. Well there goes being lowkey." I said. "That is the most extra thing I've ever heard." he said and laughed. "Ojiro, wanna join our group?" I asked him. He nodded. "Okay, we just need one more team mate. Shinso, how about someone from your class?" I asked him. "They don't like to work with people like you. How about another person from your class?" he asked. "My class is all taken up. Besides, we just have to work together for a bit, not for our whole lives." I said. We convinced one of his classmates and we started brainstorming. "So, Shinso will be the rider, I'll be the head, and you two will be the sides. That way, if needed, I can fly without hurting anyone. Do you guys agree with me?" I said. Shinso, Ojiro, and the class C student nodded. We started to go in formation and then, time. Time to begin. "I think we should pick off the other teams and not Midoriya. It'll be easy, concidering that everyone is going after him." I said. The others nodded and we went after the other groups. we got 6,000 points by the end of it. We ended up placing third in the cavalry battle. We made it into the final event. I walked to the waiting rooms and sat down with new headphones and a new phone. I started listening to Panic! At The Disco songs on low volume while humming the lyrics. "Next is Y/N Shagikawa vs Denki Kaminari!" I heard over the intercom. I walked out.

"Begin!" I heard midnight say. I turned my wings on, not to fly, but to burn him bit by bit everytime he passed my wings. I charged at him with my quirk activated and aiming at his shoulder. He zapped be and it barely hurt. "Is that all? I'm very surprised." I said while climbing air and kicking his face. He electrified me and was put into a dumb state. I picked him up bridal style and threw him out of the arena. "Bye netflix adaptation pikachu!" I said. "The winner is Shagikawa!" I heard present mic say over the speakers. After being tricked by Mineta and Kaminari, the dude that I beat, into wearing a cheerleading uniform, I gave them an ass whooping and put back on my normal clothes. "Y/N Shagikawa vs Fumikage Tokoyami!" I heard. I walked out and quickly got my ass handed to me even though I have a fire quirk. I fell unconcious because Tokoyami kinda overdid it. I woke up in the post up infermary. I saw Shinso looking down at me. He left quickly and I got up to follow after him. I thanked recovery girl before I left. "Hey, Shinso! Wanna sit with me and watch the rest of the festival?" I asked him from down the hall. He came toward me and held my hand. He nodded and we went over to some lonely seats to sit down. I leaned up against his shoulder and watched the final fights.

Ashido's P.O.V

I looked over to see Shagikawa and that purple haired dude sitting down and Shagikawa's head on his shoulder. "Guys! Shagikawa's right over there!" I said. The girls looked over to where she was. "Is she dating him?!" Hagakure asked. I shrugged. "We need to get to the bottom of this!" I declared. "It's not nice to get into Shagikawa's buisness. It's best if we leave the situation alone." Yaoyarozu said. "Nope! Don't you want to know if she's dating him?!" I said. "Perhaps, but it's still unkind of us to do so." Yaoyarozu said. "We'll just ask her questions about him in class." I said and then sighed. They must be dating. But why date him? He look's really tired and he seems to hate flashy quirks. How was she able to win his heart?
