I woke up to Zaniyah running into my room and jumping on the bed.

"Good morning, Mommy," she said, lifting up my eyelids.

I just stirred awake, laughing.

"Good morning, Niyah," I said, rubbing my eyes and stretching. I had been sleeping so peacefully before my human alarm clock woke me up. I turned and looked at the time. It was 9 o' clock. Oh shit!

"Where is your father, Zaniyah?" I asked her as I sat up.

"Daddy said he was going to the gym, Mommy."

"Why didn't he take you to school?"

"Because it's Saturday, Mommy," she said giggling at me. That's right, it was Saturday. Lucky for me, I was off today, because I would have been one cranky soul this morning for running behind schedule.

"Well, what you want to eat for breakfast?"

"I already made my own breakfast. I ate cereal."

"That's good, baby. Did your daddy help you?"

"Nope, I did it all by myself," she said proudly. My rambunctious little girl was growing by the day. I still looked at her as if she was my little seven pounds of joy. I could just imagine what my kitchen probably looked like right now. I got up and put on Mario's t-shirt that laid across the back of the chair.  I grabbed Zaniyah's hand, and we headed downstairs. I was shocked to see what awaited me in the den.

"Happy anniversary, Desiree," Mario said, holding a single multi-colored rose out towards me. I walked into the den and I looked from left to right and saw all the beautiful roses and gift boxes surrounding the room.

"Oh my God, Mario. What is all this?" I asked, walking towards him with tears falling from my eyes and a smile on my face. He handed me the rose and lifted my chin. He kissed me deeply. When he freed me from the kiss, I stumbled back a little, but he caught me.

"This is all for you, Baby," he said. "Desi, I love you so much, boo. I want you to always know that. No matter what we may go through, or what problems we may have, I love you and only you."

"I love you too, Mario," I said, throwing my arms around his neck and trying to squeeze the life out of him.

"We got you good, Mommy," Zaniyah said, hugging the both of us.

"Good job, Stink," Mario said, picking her up into his arms. They slapped fives, and I just smiled at them. These two here; I loved them both with all my heart, and I swear I wouldn't give them up for anything in this world. I loved them more than life itself. Hell, they were my life.

"Put me down, Daddy. I have to give Mommy her gift from me first."

"You got Mommy a gift, Sweetie?" I said with a smile.

"Yep. Come on, Mommy. I'm gonna show you." She grabbed me by the hand and led me over to the sofa. She handed me a gift wrapped in paper. It was obvious she tried her best to wrap it herself.

"Did you wrap it yourself, Niyah?"

"Yes. You like it?"

"I love the paper."

"I hope you do because I like the butterflies, too," she said, giggling.

I tore the paper off the gift and my heart instantly melted. It was a picture frame. She had drawn a picture of me, her, and Mario. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. I started to cry.

"What's wrong, Mommy? You don't like it?" she asked sadly.

"No, Baby, I love it," I said, wiping my tears from the corner of my eye. I grabbed her and hugged her tightly. "I love it so much. I love you so much, Niyah."

"I love you, too, Mommy. Now open the gifts from Daddy."

"Okay."

Mario walked over to me with a few gift bags and two boxes.

"Open one of the bags first."

I reached for the biggest bag. I took out all the tissue paper, with the help of Zaniyah, and pulled out a Gucci bag and a matching belt. My jaw dropped.

"Mario, what the hell?"

"What the hell nothing. You deserve it. There's more so open up the rest, Bae.

I opened the next bag: shoes. However, they weren't just any shoes. My baby had gotten me some red bottom Louboutins. "Well damn, Nigga," I said, laughing.

"There's more," he said, motioning me to open the last bag.

I grabbed the last bag and pulled out a box. I opened it and lifted up a sexy black mini dress. It had slits all over it, which barely left anything to hide. It was short as hell and a lot of people were going to definitely enjoy the peep show.

"Oh, wow, Mario. I love it. I love everything," I said.

He handed me a small box. I opened it and inside was a tennis bracelet and a pair of earrings to match. It was beautiful.

"I have one more gift for you, Desi."

"What could there possibly be left to give?" I asked, laughing.

He knelt down in front of me with his last box in hand. My eyes flew open wider. My heart started racing.

"Desiree Michelle Davis, these past six years have been wonderful. Even though we have been going through some really rough times, we got through it all and we're still here, sticking it out together. You have blessed me with a beautiful little munchkin that I love as much as I love you. We're a team. You, me, and Niyah are a family. I would be honored if you would marry me again," he said.

"Yes, I will marry you again, Mario," I said. The tears were now streaming down my face.

"Yay! Daddy is gonna marry me and Mommy again," Zaniyah said, bouncing happily on the couch.

We just laughed at our little girl and kissed her.

"Now can we have breakfast for real?" Zaniyah asked.

"Yes, we can, Baby," I said, picking her up and heading in the kitchen.
