*Niall's POV*

When I came out the stall I looked at myself in the mirror and began washing my hands. I just finished recording for the day. I started to kick and punch the air around me I was so excited.

I heard someone walk in and I stopped and tester turned off. I didn't grab a paper towel because #savetheplanet so, I wiped my hands on my pants walking pass the man who entered and as soon as he passed and I was out of sight I started punching the air again.

I recorded three songs. I can't believe I'm doing this on my own. I actually like the team that I'm working with, I like the sound and vibe of me. MY sound. The sound that I have always had but concealed it because it didn't match the aesthetic of Niam. Well Niam doesn't exist anymore and I am more than happy at this moment.

I walked out the bathroom completely and my security guard came back with me and we were supposed to be leaving.

My phone vibrated in my pocket. I looked at it and it was a text from Maren Morris asking if I was freaking kidding that of course she'd do a song with me and I started dancing on the way to the car.

"Someone is energetic." He said.

"When you close a door so many more open." I said flying in the open van door for me.

He laughed getting in and shutting the door. I text Maren about when we should meet up and stuff. I'm really ready. I'm happy.

It was a good ride back home so I decided to take a little nap.

"Umm Niall i Love you and you're my best friend okay?" Liam said and I turned away from my desk and I looked towards him and he was looking down at his fingers fidgeting.

"Okay, Love you too, What's this about?" I asked him.

"Nothing." He said and I hopped on my bed next to him.

"What's wrong? Cats got ya tongue." I said poking him and smiling.

"Don't tease me." He said looking up at me and he had a blush on his face.

"I'm sorry. What's up? You know you can tell me anything right?" I asked him.

"I'm scared. Umm I just don't want anything bad to happen." He said.

"What bad would happen? Did you do something. If you're the reason my cat ran away then we might have some serious issues Payne." I said smiling and he pushed me.

"I'm trying to be serious right now so can you stop joking please." He said.

"I was trying to lighten the mood. Seems like whatever you have to tell me is eating you up inside." I said.

"I like someone." He said.

"Why would it end b- don't tell me you like my mom. Gross man." I said and he looked at me with a angry face.

"Could you shut up?" He said and I laughed.

"The floors all yours." I said and he took a deep breath out.

"I like someone and I don't know how they would feel if I told them, I tried to convince myself that it was t so but after a couple weeks of analyzing I can't get over the feeling and so I know that it's true." He said.

"I've always told you that you miss 100% of the shots you don't take. Why do you think I'm always walking up to fine lads and wondering if they want a piece. Well not want a piece because you know virgin sally over here but I always go for it." I said.
