It was dark outside as i walked around.. It had been raining all day, so the streets were wet. I clutched my umbrella tightly as i didn't want my warm clothes to get wet. It reminded me of how in waterall i had walked with Monster Kid, not that i really had a choice. He followed me, but i didn't mind. I left that life behind though... I left my friends behind after i had freed them. They think I'm dead, most likely.
As I'm walking, i see a short figure standing out in the rain. I hesitate, but move to the figure's side to prevent more soakage from the dripping water. The figure looked up upon feeling the water stop, then at me. "?...kiddo?.." that familiar voice said. He sounded like he was in shock.. "! Sans, i-i...I'm sorry..I'll go."
"Wait- please don't! Frisk...i..i.." he trailed off, but after a moment i felt his wet clothes as he wrapped his arms around me tightly. I let out a small gasp as it was cold, but... I hugged back, leaving the umbrella forgotten on the ground. The hug already got me wet, so not like i need to worry about it.
He sighed and looked at me, "Frisk... Won't you come home?"
"...sans, i can't.. I'm sorry. I.... I left that life behind to give you all a chance.."
"..." sigh, "fine...but...please.. Can we at least meet up every now and then? I miss you... A lot..."
"!...okay..but don't tell anyone, alright?"
"Deal."
