They say to the North lie secrets, and not ones you'd want to discover. No, even the boldest do not dare to stick their noses into the ice. The wisest stay away, weary of the unknown. While the stupid, they are left to fend for themselves. What they decide to do is completely left to them.
Another wive's tale is that the land of mystery is guarded by the Woman of Frost, who has no name other than that, and perhaps her own which she has hidden away in the dark recesses of her mind. Of course, that quite possibly could be just a myth.
Some lay in their beds at night, with the resolution to hunt down the truth. Those, those you should actively avoid. They will just lead you to trouble.
Which, by the way, is exactly what happened to the agency that goes by the name of S.H.I.E.LD.
Four years ago, a man was found in the ice seemingly by the great Tony Stark. In truth, this was not the case. The woman in mention was the one to find him, and nurse him back to health in the comfort of her frosty home, where a fire roared and cackled from it's place upon the hearth.
The soldier remembers very little, simply the basics- which I just told you. The agency decided that they didn't need any fools off in search of the woman, for it's rumored that she treats unexpected visitors harshly. It was a rare circumstance the man had fallen into.
Therefore, they decided to cover up the incident. They vanquished all rumors about the Woman of Frost, but went off in a selfish quest to find her themselves, in hope of recruiting her to their ranks.
Little did they know, the North can be contained, but never tamed.

Preview Of The Upcoming Chapter~
My pale hand gripped the sword of ice firmly in its palm, relishing the refreshing sting of the frosted material. I could hear the sounds of their modern-day inventions closing in, and I knew that alone I would never fend them off. It was just impossible. So I resolved to give them hell.
I pulled my thick hood over my head, masking my face. Below, my cold, steel blue eyes glared out from beneath the fur. Blonde hair fell from it's binding in the back of my head, but I did nothing to put it into its proper place. I had bigger priorities at the time being.
As armored men, and women, marched their way across my plane of snow I narrowed my eyes, counting their numbers. Each was armed extremely heavily, with machines I can't even put to name with my out of date information. Whatever they were, they nearly made me laugh. So much, for one simple woman like me? Looks like they weren't too cocky after all.
They would still loose plenty of numbers to me, before the end of the day. I was not going to give up my freedom and solitude easily. My grasp tightened on the sword forged from the cruelty that was the North, and I charged forward into their ranks.
Let. It. Begin.
