Where Am I? (Edited)

(Y/N)'s pov

   I slowly regained access to my senses allowing myself to see the bright lights as I lifted my head off the desk. Wait. Desk? I was just in the main hall and now I'm in some sort of classroom?

   "How did I get here?" I question myself as I stand up noting some things I notice about the room. Strange. The windows are blocked by sheets of metal that are dead-bolted down. "I'm not gonna even try to undo that," I state turning around and looking at the wall on the other side of the classroom. Looking up at the wall I could see a security camera hanging upon the wall.

The cameras didn't freak me out as much as they should of. I just thought that, with it being a government-funded school, they would need something to allow them to see the students' activities and that they were being good. Turning away I saw a note on the desk on which I slept. I quickly read through the pamphlet and saw that it needed me present in the main hall at 8 o'clock sharp. I, being my anxious self, started freaking out thinking that I was late. Within my mental breakdown, I noticed a clock sitting on the wall. I looked at it for a moment witnessing that it was only 7:30. I released a sigh and glided over to the door. I quietly opened a sliver of the door to see if anyone was in the hallway.

Seeing that the coast was clear, I opened the door the rest of the way. I kept my guard up just in case someone appeared suddenly. I roamed the halls trying to find the main hall. While walking I started thinking about how someone could knock me out, bring me to a classroom and dead-bolt those windows in less than half an hour. After about ten minutes I found the main hall and peered inside it. Seeing only 5 or so faces I quickly use my telepathic abilities to trick their brains into not seeing me. After doing that I walked into the room and looked over them all. Two of them made me take a double-take.

The first of which had very large eyebrows that reached his hairline. He scared me with the intense aura he gave off. The second made me almost start crying. Though it had only been a couple of months since I've seen him he had changed so much. Instead of the young, passionate child, I had grown up with, there stood a man who looked annoyed and repulsed at everyone and everything that he deemed unworthy. What else would you expect from the Togami heir?

I walked closer to the boy with tears in my eyes. 'Thank god I'm using my ability.' I thought as tears streaked down my face. He seemed to have noticed my presence as he shot his head in every direction to see where this feeling had come from. Before he could look at me multiple people scrambled through the door. I hid behind him as I looked at everyone. Noticing that there were now at least 11 people in the room I concluded that I would have to make some acquaintances that I can show myself to or I else I could end up harming myself mentally.

Because I only knew the man that I was hiding behind, he was the only one that I let see me. I told him telepathically to not do anything when he saw me walk in front of him because I didn't want him to make a fool of himself. I let out a breath and walked in front of him keeping it so we could talk telepathically.

He was visibly shaken by seeing me. "W-what?" he thought to me. He had a tear threatening to fall out of his eye that he promptly wiped away. "Why are you here?" he asked with a tone of curiosity whereas he stood completely stone-faced.

" I was excepted into Hope's peak as the Ultimate Telepathic Artist. I'll be going as (Y/N) (L/N) the Ultimate artist so that no one finds out about my past." I confide this all to Togami. Saying this I start tearing up for thinking about my past. He looks at me with what seems like disgust until something appears to dawn upon him, making him look at me in worry. He then looks away and slightly nods to me showing he understood. I smile at him before moving out of his way.

( This chapter went on for way too long but whatever. If you enjoyed having a chapter this long please tell me and I will write longer chapters. I also wanted to apologize for not writing for so long. I'm on summer vacation right now so I can write some more than usual plus I have been having a break from writer's block.
