   "FFFUUUUUUUUUUUU-!" I heard an angry man with a pompadour scream at Monokuma. He jumped at the bear. The man grabbed him and picked him up. " Gotcha, you little piece of shit! I dunno if you're a toy or a stuffed animal or whatever the hell! Either way, I'm gonna rip you to fuckin' shreds!"

   The bear screamed about violence against him is unacceptable. To which the dude responded about letting him out. The bear just stayed quiet. Then we heard beeping. We were all confused until a girl with lavender hair yelled for him to get rid of it. That's when, apparently, both Byakuya and I realized exactly what it was.

   Monokuma had turned himself into a bomb. Byakuya quickly pulled behind him to shield me. The man had thrown The bear into the air and it Immediately exploded. The blast caused a ringing in my ears. It hurt a lot. Almost as bad as my headaches.

   Chihiro was quick to respond. "But you know... This means that the teddy bear's been destroyed, right?" We all lightened up slightly at the thought until we heard the voice again reminding us that he is, in fact, not a teddy bear. Rather, he is Monokuma. Everyone was shocked that he was back after literally just exploding.

   There were a few emotions around the room. Intrigue, repulsion, anxiousness. The only thing that everyone had in common was that they wanted answers.

   "You son of a bitch! You seriously tried to kill me just now!" The man shouted at Monokuma.

   Monokuma merely responded with "Well, yes. I was serious about trying to kill you. You did violate one of the school regulations, after all. I'll let you off with a warning this time, but you'd better be careful from now on. Any naughty boy or girl who violates my rules won't get off with just a little swat on the butt." I was astounded.

   "A warning! He calls almost blowing him up a warning!" I think to Byakuya. He merely scoffs and thinks back to me.

   "Whoever is controlling Monokuma must enjoy watching people suffer, both physically and mentally." I hum in reply.

   "Monokumas have been placed all throughout the school, yes. Plus, don't forget the surveillance cameras installed everywhere. And if you're caught breaking any rules, well... You all just saw what happened, right? Puhuhu... And I won't be so forgiving with my punishment next time. So don't let it happen again!" The demonic bear told us.

   "Forgiving? Warning? This bear is nuts!" I speculate towards Byakuya. He justs sneers and continues looking at the bear.

   Monokuma speaks yet again. " Now then, lastly... To commemorate your joyous entry into our school, I have a little something for you..." He holds something up for us to see. "This is our official student handbook! Pretty cool, huh? As you can see, it's fully digital. So naturally, we call it... The e-handbook!" He quickly puts it back down.

   "Ahem. Yes, well, moving on... This handbook is absolutely vital to a healthy school life, so don't lose it! When you start it up, it will display your name. Always make sure you have the right one!" As he said this Monokuma started passing them out. I quickly got mine and booted it up. When it started it displayed the name (Y/N) (L/N). I let out a sigh.

   "Now, this is not your everyday notebook. It has so many more uses than that! Also, it's completely waterproof. Splash it, wash it, drown it, it'll keep on ticking! And thanks to its space-age design, it can withstand an impact force up to ten tons. Very resistant! It contains all of our school regulations, so make sure you review them thoroughly!" I went to check the rules when the bear looked at us all menacingly.

   "You'll hear me say this a lot, but any violation of the school regulations will not be tolerated. Rules restrict, yes, but they also protect. Society, for example, would be utter chaos without laws. The same thing applies here! Which is why it's crucial we have strict punishments in place for violators." Monokuma's mood takes a complete 180.

   "Okay, well...that brings our entrance ceremony to a close! Please enjoy your abundantly dreary school life! And...see ya!" After saying that he left. We all just stood there not knowing what to do next. A few people started talking but I ignored them deciding to instead read out the rules.

   Pressing down on the school regulations icon it showed the first rule. I read them to myself.

  Rule 1. Students may reside only within the school. Leaving campus is an unacceptable use of time. How would we even be able to get out, you deadbolt the windows and doors shut you buffoon!

   Rule 2. "Nighttime" is from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Some areas are off-limits at night, so please exercise caution. Why would some areas need to be blocked off? And specifically between those times?

   Rule 3. Sleeping anywhere other than the dormitory will be seen as sleeping in class and accordingly. I guess that makes sense. I don't think we're going to be having classes here anyway.

   Rule 4.With minimal restrictions, you are free to explore Hope's Peak Academy at your discretion. I think I was right about the no classes thing then.

   Rule 5. Violence against Headmaster Monokuma is strictly prohibited, as is destruction of surveillance cameras. Maybe I can trick the cameras into making whoever is the mastermind not see me.

Rule 6. Anyone who kills a fellow student and becomes "blackened" will graduate, unless they are discovered. What does it mean by "unless they are discovered"? No one's going to be stupid enough to let some see that they killed another.

Rule 7. Additional school regulations may be added as necessary. They made this to make sure if something goes haywire or something else comes up they can fix it. At least that's my thought process is.

   After reading all the rules I survey the room. Everyone else must have had the same idea because they're all nose deep in their e-handbooks. That and I'm reading over Byakuya's shoulder. All of a sudden people start talking again. This time I listen.

   "... Ever since I was a kid, I grew up with my older brother pounding this into my head... When a man makes a promise, he has to keep it, even if it kills him." Huh? What is that supposed to mean? And I don't like "even if it kills him" part mister tough, scary guy.

   "I've made a ton of promises that I still have to keep, that's 'so what'!" Oh. Someone asked him. "So I can't afford to die here!"

   "None of that made much sense to me, but you are saying you will follow the regulations, is that it?" A girl with big, black curls and a lolita style spoke to him. He looked away sheepishly.

   "Huh? Oh, well...yeah, I guess you're right." he grumbled.

   Suddenly a girl with long blue hair spoke up. "Hey, um...I have a question. For regulation number six... what do you think it means exactly?" Number 6? The "blackened" rule? It's probably meaning how none can find out that it was you who killed someone. That doesn't make sense. We would all eventually figure it out because while they got free all of us would still be here minus the killer and their victim.

   "Hold on! Like hell I'm gonna let you run off and do whatever you want!" That brought me back to the situation at hand. That and Byakuya was no longer by my side. I quickly made sure no one could see me and walked over to him at the same time the scary male ran in front of him.

   Byakuya, being Byakuya, insulted him, which was a horrible decision on his part. I tried to pull him back slightly when the Makoto kid ran in between them. That seemed to anger scary man even more. He screamed at Makoto and winded up for a punch. Byakuya pushed me and himself out of the way. All of a sudden we see Makoto fly back a few feet, lying there, unconscious.

(Sometimes I wonder why I don't do longer chapters more often. Then I realize that I'm only doing longer chapters because most of it I'm copying from a video game. Hopefully, I will only be doing this for the most important chapters. Aka, the ones where there is important information. Anyway, I hope you all have a good day or night.
