In spite of his gentleness, Bhuvi was the only one who could control Hardik when the latter was on a madcap scheme.

It took Bhuvi more than an hour to instill in Hardik's mind that he must not, at any cost, do anything to provoke either Rohit or Jinks.

"Not even if the joke is really, really funny, Bhuvi?"

"Not even then," said Bhuvi firmly.

"But why does Rohit need to take them personally?"

"You won't understand, Hardik Pandya, seeing that your brains are dumber than a 4-year-old child's," said Jaddu maliciously from the side.

"Jaddu..." Bhuvi looked at him.

"Right. Sorry." Jadeja patted Bhuvi on the head and left, grinning. It was funny to see dear little Bhuvi acting all grown up.

"So remember what I said," said Bhuvi, after answering Hardik's stupid questions for more than 40 minutes.

"I'll do more than that. I'll find a way to make them friends again," declared Hardik.

"No--no," said Bhuvi, genuinely alarmed.

"Why not?" asked Hardik in astonishment. "That's what you all want, right?"

"All right--but promise you'll tell Virat your plan first, before carrying it out. Ok?" asked Bhuvi, beginning to lose his patience, though he knew he mustn't.

"Ok. Promise," said Hardik, clapping Bhuvi on the shoulder.

No one could understand why Hardik listened to Bhuvi. But undeniably, he did.
