"Both of them..." Virat sounded terrified. "How do we get them out? Ash, how do we get them out of this place?"
"Virat!" Hardik shouted, running towards them. "I got the technique to get them out!"
"What is it?" asked everyone present there.
"There's this opening--" Hardik turned the box over. "One of us needs to put our hand through this--and think of them. They'll come out."
"Thank goodness," said Virat, taking his hand towards the opening.
Ashwin caught his wrist. "Don't do that now."
Everyone stared at Ash like he was mad.
"Even if you haven't noticed, the Virtual world seems to be doing its work. Their rift has been mended, at least from Rohit's side. Wait till Jinks forgives Rohit too."
"They're both injured--" began Virat.
"I think they'll be made all right here. Didn't you see how the scene changed just as the armies were about to converge on them?"
"You're absolutely right, Ash," said Jadeja thoughtfully. "We need the right moment to get them out."
"Right." Kohli turned the box over again, as they leaned in to look once more.
