I am woken up by a slap in the face. I open my eyes realizing what happened earlier. I'm in a basement with a girl that looks almost like a barbie doll but with all black clothes on. I immediately start to cry. Colby, what is happening to him? "Please don't hurt him." I beg her. "Oh, don't worry your pretty little head. He'll be safe and sound once he's with me. But you on the other hand...we'll have a bit of fun with."

The next few days were mostly me just sitting in a cold room alone with nothing to eat, only Colby to think about, and very little water. If I wasn't alone in the room I was being slapped, kicked, or punched by the girl or her men. She told me her name was Shea. She said that name was for Colby to say and not for me to even spell. I am to call her Elyse according to her rules. After two weeks she let me upstairs. I started trying to find a way to escape after the third week in that literal hell of what they call a building.

One day on the fourth week I noticed she left the door unlocked when I was alone upstairs. I quickly ran to it and when I got outside I saw a brick wall that was far too high to jump. I looked around for any way to escape but froze when I heard footsteps behind me. After she found me trying to escape she beat me till I blacked out. She thought that would stop me from trying to escape but it did quite the opposite.

Weeks pass without any luck of finding ways to escape but then one day Shea leaves me upstairs alone again. I look at the door and it's unlocked again. Wow, maybe I can find something. I open the door and keep it open with a shoe.

Outside I look around for anything I can find to escape. Holy shit! There's a ladder. I move the ladder up against the wall and climb up to see if it's a good idea to jump over. Sure enough I see a house in the distance and there isn't anything that I think could stop me. I jump over and run to the house. When I look inside I see a family. I quickly run to the door and knock frantically. After a minute or two the door opens and I see a lady that looks to be in her late thirties.

"Hello, do you need something?" Out of breath I try to respond as best as I can. "I was kidnapped, I don't know when they will find that I'm gone. Please help me." She takes out her phone and motions for me to come in. "You need to call 911." She hands me the phone and I take it, quickly calling 911.

When they get there they take me to the police station and ask me a ton of questions. A lady asks me if I need to let anyone know that I'm here. "Can you call my boyfriend and let him know I'm at the police station. I'm kinda scared to talk to him on the phone." I say nervously. "Of course just tell me his number." I tell her his number and she leaves the room to call him. After waiting in a room for a while an officer opens the door and walks in the room. "A man is here and says his name is Colby. He wants to see you. Do you want to go see him?" I take a deep breath. "Yes please."

I walk to the front with her, looking down. "Keela?" I look up to see Colby and start to cry. I run to him and jump into his arms. I hear him sob and I do the same. I cry into his shirt and feel a tear drop onto my shoulder. "I love you so much. I tried not to worry about you but I couldn't, I couldn't stand not knowing what happened to you. Every day I thought about you; wondering if you were still alive and what was happening to you if you were. I'm sorry I couldn't protect you." "It's not your fault. I love you so much. Every day I thought about you, I was determined to get out so I could be with you again. I missed you so much, your smell, your touch, I missed being in your arms and waking up next to you." I cry into his shoulder.

"I'm here now." I pull away still holding his hands to look at him. I carefully take in every detail. "Are you ok? What did they do to you?" He looks at my cuts and bruises sobbing. "I'm ok baby." I hear the door open and look over to see all my friends walk in. Taylor, Sam, Kat, Corey, Devyn, Jake, Tara, Aaron, Tori, and all the others, everyone's here. Taylor is the first to move. She runs towards me, wrapping her arms around me. "I missed you so much." We hug for a minute or two and then I pull away, looking at the others. They walk to me and hug me. I missed every single one of them.

3 hours later:

I've always loved being in Colby's arms, it's the best feeling ever. He combs his fingers through my hair while we cuddle each other. "We need to do something together, just us." "We should, whenever you're ready just tell me what you want to do and we'll do it." I hear him inhale my scent. "Your hair smells so good, you must have put a ton of shampoo in." "Yeah, I did. But you smell good too."

The next day:

I wake up in Colby's arms for the first time in months. Not having to worry about whether I will eat or not that day or if I will get beaten too hard. Not having to plan my escape anymore, I am right where I am supposed to be.

I move a bit and see his eyes open. "Good morning." I say happily. "Good morning to you too." He suddenly frowns. "What did they do to you?" He looks concerned and sad. "Nothing that I couldn't handle. Don't worry about it, I'm ok I'm with you. I'm safe and sound now." I reassure him. "What did they do?" "Colby, I'm fine." "Just tell me."

I try to kiss him but he pulls away, looking at me with a face full of worry. I turn onto my back and look at the ceiling with a sigh. "They didn't feed me much, just a bit of bread every few days. They didn't give me much water either. I had a cup of water every day or two. The beatings were bad, I passed out a few times. One time when I tried to escape she beat me really bad. I passed out but when I woke up she beat me till I passed out another time. I was locked in the basement for two weeks the only thing to do was think; think about you and Taylor and all of our friends and the times we had with each other. There was not a hour in any of the days I was there that I didn't think of you. I just wanted to be back in your arms so I was determined to escape and be with you again. So that's exactly what I did."

I continue looking up at the ceiling until I hear him sob. I quickly hug him and try to comfort him but start crying. "I'm s-sorry." He says, sobbing. "No, it's not your fault. You always loved, protected, and cared about me and you still do. You never wanted this to happen to me."

We cry in each other's arms and end up falling asleep again. I wake up to the smell of food. What did he make? It smells good.

When I sit up I feel something wet under me, great. Quickly but carefully I get underwear and a pad and run to the bathroom. After changing and taking the sheets off of the bed I walk into the kitchen holding my stomach.

"Good morning, wait what's wrong?" He looks at me, worried. "Take a look at the sheets in the floor if you wanna know what's wrong." He goes in the bedroom and comes out with a half shocked, half worried expression on his face. "Here's your breakfast." He hands me a plate with pancakes on it. "Thank you." He sits down next to me and after eating a bit I get a cramp. I hiss in pain and lean forward grabbing my stomach.

"You ok babe?" "Does it look like I'm ok?" I growl.

For the rest of the week I rest while Colby does stuff with friends for YouTube. Then one day I go home after hanging out with Devyn and Kat and can't find Colby in the apartment. After looking around I find a note on the counter:

If I'm not in the apartment then I'm at Brennen's, you can join if you want.
