Two days later, Jace and I had grown closer, making up for the drifting that had happened. He still didn't leave me alone about the people I ate but who am I to blame? The crunching of their bones just was too satisfying.
I usally found myself craving more, so I'd catch a few criminals and devour them at my hideout, eating their bones and cleaning up quickly. It alarmed me how much I even liked the taste of my own kind, no body has a problem if it's bad people, right?
Anyways, for Roman's birthday we were going to have a sleepover at his house, and I was packing up for the party.
I grabbed a packet of blood and teared it open. I chugged it down quickly and threw it away, and tried my best to ignore the urges of grabbing another packet.
The person who sold it to me said it'd get rid of the craving of the criminals I has knocked down so far. It had worked for me so far, but it'd make me almost drunk like if I took anymore.
"Hey, are you ready?" Jace asked from the door way.
"Just a second! I'm almost done!" I yelled back to him, putting away my katana.
"It's lucky the first three were serial killers, eh?"
"Oh shut up, you knew it was a quick snap and back."
"Besides, everyone's okay with you killing criminals, so no worries, you aren't going to get arrested if their attacking you or anyone else."
"I just hope I can keep it that way."
"You know...Back when Morro was around..."
"Yeah?"
"There was this ninja in the same suit as you, with a child...but it was robotic...with a complete set of one wolf ear and one fox ear, with a tail the same way at the ice thing where I was..."
"So what are you saying?"
He looked over his shoulder and closed the door. "I think our fates were a little bit messed up when they wrote that...I didn't think...That's true..."
My heart sank. "O-Oh..." I stuttered, and began to pack up again.
I just got friendzoned! I mean, why would he love me?! I'm just a teen who hunts down people for spinjitzu's sake! I don't deserve him—
"Hey!" He shouted over my thoughts.
"You heard me say 'Didn't' or did you not?"
"W-What?!"
" 'I didn't think that was true. ' Would you like to take a jump between yes or no?
"So which one is it?"
"In my book..." "Yes..."
"EH— YOU'RE KIDDING!"
"The fates do some twisted stuff to you when you're made to be 'Elementless', take it from me, I've got two powers to pass off to my kid...If I ever have one..."
"What makes you think you won't have one?"
He fiddled with his fingers. "If I'm supposed to have one with you...Then I'd be up for it...But Kai said something about a standoff between us..."
"It could've been about the three I knocked down..."
"I— Believe there's another element to you...Those flashes to the future you have...Are they real?"
"Most of the time...No...But there are a few I've had that are real..."
He shifted uncomfortably. "W-Which one?" He asked.
"The... 'Three'...But I didn't think they were going to happen...."
"So...If I'm correct...There's one element that took your entire life to master, but one useless one that you could use right off the bat?"
"I...Guess so..."
"So you have another element...Jeez...The fates really are the rulers of salt, aren't they?"
My stomach lurched forward. "I'll...Be back before Roman's party begins...Alright?"
"Hm? Okay..?"

I walked until I came across a familiar building, I opened it.
"Hey Skai, Back for another round?"
"Yep...Same thing always happening around here, protect, save, and get yelled at by my friend."
She tossed me a bottle, which I opened and drank away.
"Girl, calm down, it's not a competition or anything."
"I know...But I chug it down because I don't want Lloyd to kill me if I come home like a phycho."
"Anyways, where's your so called 'Boyfriend'?"
"You know I'll never bring him, kid can't even taste this stuff, I've gathered that from when he tried a drop of wine once." I put it down and inspected the label. "Are you sure this is Non-Alcholic stuff? I'm not underage drinking, even if it does feel cool."
"Nah, I figured you're tough enough for one bottle, it's won't kill you, won't even make a dent in you."
"Oh god...What have you done?"
"Pfft, I told you it was good. Just don't throw up in front of anyone and they won't know."
"You should've said that before...Ugh...Do you have anything else?"
"Oh god...I didn't think it was that strong!" She exclaimed as she grabbed a pill. She filled up a cup with water and gave it to me. Which I drank.
"There there...It's a good thing you only drank an eight of it, that could leave you drunk for a day."
"I'd better get going...Thanks Rumi!" I said as I waved to her.
"No problem!" She responded.
I walked out the door and into the darkness, no longer dead inside.
"HEY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" Someone shouted.
I looked behind me, it was a police officer. I booked it down the street, and covered my face with my hoodie.
I reached down into my pocket and saw that somehow I had the bottle with me. Rumi must have snuck it in while I drank the pill! I didn't want to get in trouble with it... I walked down into another alley way and drank it there, it wasn't long before I crashed out.

So um...Help for the problematic child please?
