Redheaded Jade is staying next to the window watching the cars on the road. She is holding one picture in her hands. A family picture. Picture of Bobby, Dean, Sam and her. She regrets that night and sometimes she just wants to go back and don't go to the kitchen.
Classic rock is playing in the sitting room and she could hear it in the garden. Dean just loves that music genre and he can't do anything without it. He never listened to new pop hits. He hated them. There was a big difference between him and Sam. Dean was always a good soldier. John, his dad raised him like that while Sam was the opposite: he never liked family business. He wanted to go to school and be normal like all his friends. But a hunter can't have a normal life, his past will come back one day. When Sam's first girlfriend Jessica died he left everything and went with Dean hunting the thing that killed her. After that he never came back, he couldn't leave Dean and he finally understood why is family so important. Meeting and falling in love with Jade was the best thing that happened to him in the last few years. She was grateful for everything they've done for her but she didn't know how much her father helped John and that brothers could never let something happens to her because her father did everything to protect them. He was an older hunter, older than their father. He taught John a few tricks. But when it comes to family, they never choose anything or anyone else over it. Sam had to choose between his brother and Jade. They were young, they were scared. They thought there is no other way and they were ready to give Jade to one crossroads demon. They never got a chance to explain to her what actually happened, they never got a chance to say 'I'm sorry'. She disappeared that night. No tracking spell could find her. Since that night they didn't hear a thing about her. She may be dead, she may be alive or captured but they know nothing.
She lost herself in deep thoughts and memories again. She does that often but since he showed on her doorstep, she lost control. She doesn't know how to fight her feelings anymore. She wants to go to him, she wants him back. She is ready to be hurt again, she is ready to be left aside again. No, Jade, you have to let your mind decide this time, not your heart. It's not easy to fight with feelings, they can do things that your mind would never let you do. This time heart can't decide, she must not let that happen. Sam never called her, he never tried to reach her. Why would she trust him now and help him? What she did last night was right, talking to him is wrong. Everything he says is just lies. His love for her was a lie. He needed her just to feel loved. After Jessica died, Jade was the first girl he ever talked to. She could not have noticed it then. She was in love, she was blind once but now she can see. She won't let him play with her and take "we need your help" as an apology for being a dick all those years.
She looked at the phone which was on the shelf. I can do it, this is for them. Your dad taught you that Jade. They are your family even they screwed. Let them explain. Her hands were shaking while she was tipping a message. She might be wrong but it's the only way to help them and never see them again. What they did wasn't right but it's not Bobby's fault. He was like a dad to her. He gave her home and life. He deserved to be helped. She can do that for him, she must too. The message notification made her take a deep breath and finally make that big step. The message was how she expected. She knew they will be on her side.
At 11 pm she took her bags to the car. The only thing she didn't change was her car, her blue cj5 304 jeep is still alive. She loves it as much as Dean loves his Impala. Her dad bought that car when she finished high school. She wanted to go to college but couldn't let dad hunt alone. Now that car is the only thing she has left. She would never change it. The road is long, she has 20 hours driving from Georgia to South Dakota. She hit the road with classic rock music playing on the radio, warm food, and fresh coffee. Sometimes I'm more like Dean. I like to do almost everything as he does. Dean was there when Sam wasn't, Dean was more sensitive than him. There were moments when she wanted to talk to Dean about everything. She still doesn't know why she couldn't do it. What stopped her from asking for help? Was destiny mad at her and wanted to separate her and Sam? She never tried and she will never know. Now it's too late for anything.
