~001~The Move

I sat on the hood of my sister's car,watching my parents chew out my sister for the last time.My sister and I were moving out of my abusive parents hellhole and moving to Derry.You guys are probably wondering who the hell would name a town Derry but it's a long story.I watched slowly as my sister came to the car,slipping in the drivers seat as tears stained her cheek.My parents looked me dead in my eyes before walking back in the house."Fucking assholes."I muttered before getting in the car.Susie started up the car and we were off,starting our new life in Derry,especially mine.Many people think I'm like any other kid.I have dark skin,brown
eyes,short brown curls and glasses.Normal girl right?Well,this so called normal girl has a secret.Not a secret that your local friends share to you but a secret that can frighten a whole family and drive them to another town or send their children in the house when I'm around but also a secret that people call miracles.
I can talk to dead people............

Time Skip-Derry |Nobody's P.O.V
"You're telling me,this is where we're living?"Kaci questioned,looking at the 2 story house that stood in front of her.Susie rolled her eyes before heading to the door."I mean,I'm not saying it's a bad place,it's just a little iffy."Kaci said,grabbing a few boxes before walking in the house."Alright,now that we have all of our boxes in the house,it's time to get unpacking."Susie said,clapping her hands together."Yay,unpacking so fun."Kaci said with a hint of sarcasm in her voice."Let's get this over with."
Time Skip-6:15 P.M
Knock.Knock.Knock
Kaci shot up from ground,hitting her head on the glass table she was laying under."Son of a bitch."She hissed,rubbing her forehead.Slipping from underneath the table,she seen a handwritten note on the kitchen island."Hey Kace,If your reading this note right now,I'm at Rosie's,the new diner that opened a couple of weeks ago,I'm starting my training tonight,anyways,I'll be back later tonight with some food.Oh,and hopefully you didn't hit you head on the table.Xx-Susie"Kaci scoffed before grabbing a apple from the fruit bowl.Knock.Knock.Knock.Jaci looked at the grandfather clock in the corner."Who in the world is at someone's door at 6:20 in the afternoon?"She thought walking to the door.She looked out the peephole to her big sister,arms filled with bags.Kaci fixed her glasses and opened the door as her big sister walked in"Jeez Kaci,I've been knocking on the door for about 5 minutes."Susie said,pushing through the door with bags of fast food in her hand,sitting them on the counter.Kaci rolled her eyes,grabbing a bag from the counter.Susie grabbed the other bag,sitting on the couch."I see you managed to unpack all these boxes,I'm surprised."Susie said sarcastically before biting into a burger.Kaci flipped her off before grabbing a cola from the fridge."Well fuck you too then."She mumbled,taking a sip of the refreshing drink."Oh and I forgot to tell you that I went to Derry High,your first day is on Tuesday."Susie said,flipping through the channels.Kaci spit out her drink,looking at her sister in surprise."You did what!"She yelled,causing the lights to flicker a bit.Susie sighed, rubbing her temple."Kaci,I wish I could homeschool you,but I already got the job."Susie said,trying to calm down her sister."Susie,you didn't even come and tell me about this,what if everyone thinks I'm a freak or worse.You don't want me to repeat what happened again do you?"Kaci asked,a hint of frustration in her voice.Her eyes began to water as she ran upstairs,slamming the door shut behind her.She slowly walked to her bed,falling on it and started to cry in her pillow,that day still playing on replay in her head.
Flashback-August 27,1978 Brooke Elementary
Kaci walked down the hallways,slowly carrying her books down the corridor before someone pushed against her."Hey watch where you going with those books freak!"Her enemy,Darla Hanns spat.Kaci hurried to grabbed her books before Darla stepped on her book with her pink sandals."You don't belong here Kaci,no wonder why your parents abuse you,your such a loser."She snickered,throwing the books at Kaci's face.Kaci stood up,pushing Darla against the wall."Shut up Darla,your just a stuck up bitch who thinks their better than everyone cause you live in a Victorian house."Kaci yelled,causing everyone around them walk up to the scene.Darla walked up to Kaci and slapped her harshly across her face."Go home poor girl,hopefully your parents will kill you off."Darla said before a forceful punch came towards her face.Kaci had unballed her fist,wiping the blood on her skirt before running off to the courtyard."Don't just stand there,get that freak."She heard Darla yell before her and a group of kids ran after her.Kaci ran,trying her hardest to teleport into another dimension or shapeshift into a object.She looked behind her,her feet still catching up before she came face to face with a brick wall,falling on her back.Kaci groaned in pain,watching the blood stream down her face.She tried to stand up before being pushed back into the wall."Hold her down girls."Darla said as her little puppets held Kaci down.Darla pulled a switchblade out of her pocket and cut Kaci's wrist open.Kaci screamed in pain,feeling the blade cut open her entire wrist."Nobody's gonna come and help you,your nothing but a worthless freak,Go die."Darla spat before she threw a rock at Kaci's forehead."Leave me alone."Kaci said,struggling to get out of the girls grip.Darla snatched the locket off of Kaci's neck and threw it across the yard."No more of freaks like you."She said,holding the knife up to Kaci's head."Leave.Me.ALONE!"Jaci screamed,causing the girls to cover their ears in pain,letting go of Kaci's weak body.Darla grabbed the knife from the ground,charging at Kaci again before Kaci let out a high pitch scream,causing a fire to start on Darla's body.Darla screamed,dropping the knife and struggling to put out the fire but it was still spreading.Kaci cried,watching the flames slowly cover Darla's entire body."Make it stop,make it STOP!"Darla cried,falling to the ground."Someone help me please!"Darla pleaded,tears falling down her cheeks.The fire spread around the whole school,causing the flames to cover the school,hearing the miserable kids in the room screaming.Kaci walked up to Darla,who was looking up at Kaci with her watery eyes."No more."Kaci whispered before the whole school blew up,including Darla's flaming body.Kaci closed her eyes,breathing heavily before passing out cold on the ground.Her wrist continued to bleed,spreading all over the courtyard.The blood had covered Kaci body,carrying her away to the woods.
Breaking News:Brooke Elementary set to flames,about 195 students found dead.No sign of what had started the fire but police say that it had to be something immortal.Police also found a body in the woods,the body's wrist cut and bleeding nose.Police identify this girl as Kaci Jones,the girl who survived Brooke Elementary burn down.
Flashback Ended (That was so gory sorry🧸)
Kaci sat on her bed,fiddling with her TMNT nightdress.She closed her eyes softly,falling into her state of mind."Hello?"She heard a voice behind her say.She turned around and was face to face with a girl.Shaved head,pink dress,and a bleeding nose.The girl walked up to Jaci and held out her hand."Kaci?"The girl said holding out her wrist."El?" Jaci said before they both disappeared.Kaci gasped,opening her eyes to reveal her room again."Ive got to get through this,and I've got to find El."She said before crawling into her covers.The lights started to flicker on and off as they shut off,leaving Kaci in complete darkness except for the light on her vanity.She stared at the ceiling for a minute,watching the glowing stars on the ceiling.The stars slowly changed color,turning Kaci's eyes to a purple color."I'm gonna help you out one day El,I promise...."Kaci said before she fell into a long slumber...........
