Kaci slammed her fist on the alarm before sitting up.She yawned,her whole body began to crack as she stretched.Today was Tuesday,the first day at Derry High School.She huffed and tossed the covers off her body,the sun beaming down on her face. She jumped from her bed and headed downstairs,the smell of coffee filling her nose.Her sister left out a pot of coffee since she was already heading out to work.Kaci poured herself a cup,pouring in a few creamers before taking a swig of the sweet liquid.She looked over at the clock,8:45.She spit out the coffee before slamming the mug on the table."Holy shit,I'm about to be late!"She yelled before running upstairs.She kicked open her room door,grabbing a pair of overalls and a beat up Coke shirt.She took off her pj's,throwing them in a corner of her room.She pulled the shirt over her head,zipping up the overalls and tying her shoes at the same time.She grabbed her backpack and walkman and zoomed out the room,fixing her beat up Adidas.Throwing a few bags of chips into her bag,she poured the rest of her coffee into her thermos and headed out the door,pushing her glasses up the bridge of her nose."Great,I have no fucking bike or skateboard."She huffed before slapping her forehead.Then,she looked around and huffed in realization. "Wait a minute,I can just teleport to fucking school."She said,slapping her forehead again before snapping her fingers before disappearing in front of the house,leaving behind a purple mist."Holy shit,did you see that?"A boy questioned from across the street."I- don't know R-Richie,it's p-probably all I-in your h-head."The boys looked at the house one more time before heading down the street,dazed and confused about the disappearing.
Time Skip-Derry High School.
Kaci looked around the school,seeing a whole bunch of people stare at her weirdly.She looked them up and down before speaking up."Um,what the hell are you guys looking at,keep a move on."She snapped,pushing past the staring faces.She walked past a group of people,staring at the couples sucking each other faces off in the hallways.She shuddered,looking around the school hallways before reading the door."Ok,first stop,Principal Mark's office?"She questioned before walking into the principals office.There she spotted an older man,drinking from the coffee mug.Kaci coughed briefly before finally speaking up. "Um hi Principal Mark,I'm Kaci Jones,the new student here..."She said .Principal Mark put down his mug as a creepy smile appeared on his face."Ah,Mrs.Jones,nice to meet you finally meet you."He said,standing up from his chair."Your sister Susie came up here last week,signing you up.Can't believe you passed elementary school at the age of 8."He continued,rummaging through a pile of paper on his desk.A few seconds later,he pulled out a piece of paper and handed it to Kaci."This is your schedule and your tour guide should be outside waiting on you."He said before leading her out the office."I hope you have a nice first day!"He said as a crooked smile crossed his face as he slammed the door shut.Kaci gazed at the door and back down at her schedule confused before walking away from the door.She spotted a boy with curly hair sitting on the bench next to the Principal's office.He stood up,wiping his palms on his legs."Uh,Kaci right?"He questioned,slowly walking up to her.Kaci nodded as she stood facing the taller boy."I'm Stan,Stanley Uris."He said,holding out his hand.Kaci giggled a bit,shaking Stan's oddly sweaty hand."Ok,so locker 45,right over here."Stan says as he led Kaci over to her locker.Kaci smiled before unlocking her locker,stuffing a few books and her snacks on the top shelf before slamming it shut."Ok,So my first class is English,Mrs.Cray."Kaci said before turning to face Stan."Hey,you have a class with me and my friends."Stan replied tightening the straps on his backpack.The pair started walking down the hallway,continuing there way upstairs,laughing about some of Stan's weird addiction to birds.They stopped at the classroom door before Kaci took a deep breathe in,wiping the tears from her eyes."Ok,you ready?"Questioned Stan,holding on to the doorknob.Kaci looked around the hallways before her eyes met Stan's."Let's just get this over with so can go home and raid the fridge."Kaci said.Stan nodded before he opened the classroom door,causing everyone's attention to go on Stan and Kaci."Why Mr.Uris,you're late."Mrs.Cray said,crossing her arms.Stan was about to speak up but was cut off by Kaci."It's ok Mrs.Cray,Stan was just helping me around with my classes because I'm new."She spoke up,looking back at Stan.Mrs.Cray looked at Stan then back at Kaci."Alright Stan,I'll let you off the hook this time but not you Mrs.Jones."She said with a smile.Stan looked at Kaci before taking a seat in the front row."Ok class,today we have a new student joining us today,please welcome Kaci Jones,all the way from Indiana!"Mrs.Cray cheered,causing a few claps from the rows of people.Kaci looked away from the people,her brown orbs facing the board."Now Kaci,I want you to have a seat right behind Stan please."She said as she walked back over to the desk.Kaci rolled her eyes,walking towards the rows,sliding into the seat behind Stan.He turned around and faced her,giving her a weak smile before turning back around to face the teacher.Kaci sighed,rubbing her temple before opening the textbook in front of her.Today was going to be a long day....
Time Skip-Lunch
Kaci walked over to her locker and opened it,throwing in her books and book bag as she grabbed her lunch from the top shelf,slamming the locker shut.She turned from her locker,and started walking down the hallways into the crowded lunch room.There,she seen Stan and a group of other boys sitting at a table next to the window.Stan's eyes wandered all over the place as they landed at Kaci.He smiled motioning her over to the table.Kaci smiled,running over to the table.Stan moved over,letting Kaci scoot in next to him."Guys,this is Kaci,she was in our 2nd period,remember?"Said Stan,taking out a bag of chips from his lunchbox.The boys in front of him exchanged odd looks before forcing a smile on their faces."Well hello,Kaci,the names Richie,Richie Tozier,but tonight,I'll have other names...."Richie smirked,pushing up his window glasses.Kaci looked up at the boy and rolled her eyes."Ignore Richie,he's dysfunctional...."Stan said,rolling his eyes." I'm Eddie."The shortest one said,looking up at Kaci and smiling a bit.There was complete silence until Richie spoke up."So Kaci,where you from,how'd you get here?"Richie asked before Eddie kicked him under the table.Kaci looked at him weirdly before realizing that she teleported to school,and those were the same boys who were walking down the pathway.She slapped her forehead,feeling like an idiot."You guys saw me teleport,didn't you?" She asked,looking at the 3 boys.They all looked at her and shook their heads.Kaci smiled a bit and gathered her things."Wait,w-where are y-you going."Bill questioned and stared at Kaci.She didn't say a word and left the cafeteria,chucking her lunch in the trash can.It was her first day and she already messed everything up.The bell rung and all the students fled to the double doors.Kaci huffed,walking out the door."I will never be normal again."She said,walking past a group of people going into the girls bathroom.She got a whiff of cigarette smoke and made a odd face.On the sink,a red haired girl,inhaling a bit of the smoke.Tears pricked from the girls eyes as she looked towards Kaci."So,I'm guessing your on of Greta's bitches are you?"The girl questioned,putting the cigarette out.Kaci looked at the girl with a confused look."Who the hell is Greta?"Kaci asked,furrowing an eyebrow.The girl looked at Kaci and covered her mouth."Oh my gosh,I'm so sorry!" She said slapping her forehead."Its ok,I'm new here so,I barely know anybody except for Bill,Stan,Eddie,and Richie."Kaci said.The girl smiled a bit and held out her hand."I'm Beverly,I'm one of there friends."Beverly said.Kaci smiled,"I'm Kaci,nice to meet you." She said,shaking Beverly's hand.Kaci looked at her watch and gasped."Holy shit,schools is out."She said.Beverly gasped."I've got to get home before my dad loses his mind!"She said,grabbing her backpack from the sink.The girls ran out of the bathroom,running towards the double doors.Kaci and Beverly ran over to the bike rails and Beverly grabbed her bike."Where's your bike?"She questioned,hopping on the seat."Oh,my sister dropped me off,she should be coming soon."She lied and looked down at her feet."Well,I'll see you around?"Kaci continued,looking back up at Beverly."Of course."Beverly responded, smiling a bit."See ya later stranger."She said,and began pedaling down the street.Kaci watched as Beverly pedaled down the street,turning the sharp corner.Kaci frowned a bit,walking over to a tree,where she seen the boys talking.She hurried past them before Richie called her name."Hey hotstuff,where are you going?"He asked as they walked over to her along with their bikes."I'm heading home."She said,not making eye contact with them.After a few seconds of saying nothing,Bill finally broke the silence."L-look K-Kaci,I'm s-sorry that w-we we're a-acting weird at l-lunch."He said,standing next to her."Yeah,we just never met someone who has powers and is hot at the same time."Richie said pushing up his glasses.Kaci glared at him and he held his hands up in defeat."What Richie is trying to say is that we never knew someone who was born with supernatural powers before."Eddie said,taking out his inhaler.Kaci sighed."I wasn't born with it."She said,tightening her backpack straps.The boys looked at each other and back up to Kaci.She turned around to face the boys and sighed."I came from a lab."
