Thousands of years ago on the land of Aurorus, Gods brought life to mortal beings, and as the years passed, they formed colonies. These groups of beings continued to evolve, much more than the Gods had ever expected. They started forming civilizations and became more specialized. They learned the basics of mathematics, science, and life. So the Gods made themselves apparent.

People began to worship these deities, and the number of followers began to increase. They developed a sense of security that when they die, they'll go to a safe place, as long as they have faith for the Gods.

The mortal beings started offering harvest to the deities. At first, the Gods denied the gifts, but their children persisted. It then became a daily practice to offer objects and harvest to the Gods. Most deities requested certain offerings, such as food, wine, and game. Others were contempt with just the followers' faith.

For the years that followed, Gods would reward their followers by giving them bountiful harvest, rain, and granted mortals the power of magic. Those who excelled in magic would often form places of worship for the Gods they respected most. Those who ran the churches were known as "Apostles."

The Gods worshipped in these churches would be known as "Deorum"

No... NO! It wasn't supposed to turn out this way...

However, Demons caught wind of what the Gods had created and weren't too fond of the Deorum's prosperity in the Mortal Realm. So they started manipulating and turning the Deorum against their faith.

The Demons gathered followers of their own and started rivaling the power of the Gods. The people who followed the demons feared their power, and the Demons abused that fact. They made them tools, tortured them, and required a show of faith through sacrifices.

Those who joined couldn't get out unless they killed and sacrificed the person they loved most. Although, those who showed their undying faith, were rewarded. Demons would offer pacts to the most faithful followers which gave mortal beings a portion of demonic power; however, these powers required tribute, such as offering the life of another mortal being, food, lust, and etc. If they did not, the power inside of them would corrode their body.

In Demonic faith, those who had these powers were known as "Auxillo", and the demons were known as "Daimonas"

May? May is she okay?! Fuck, what the hell is going on!?

It wasn't long after, that the Gods had gotten word of the Daimonas from their Apostles. Infuriated, the Gods called for a convention between the two forces. The Deorum had wished to resolve things peacefully with their natural foes by trying to get the Daimonas to cease their spread, saying how it would only harbor chaos and destruction.

The Daimonas, on the other hand, were not so willing to set their differences aside, and immediately waged war. The Demonic leader, Regina said, "Time and time again you have insulted our existence, we will not stand for this any longer, I, Queen of the Daimonas, declare war on the Deorum."

When word of war had reached the Mortal Realm, they prepared for battle immediately. The God's however, had different plans. They evacuated their followers to a safe place and kept them there. They wanted them to have no part in the war and wanted them to remain untainted from hatred and grief.

The Daimonas, on the other hand, forced their followers to fight and made them sign pacts. Through the days, the followers started killing one another and went insane. With no one else to sacrifice for their agreements, they had either killed themselves or killed each other. Regina and the rest of the demons had not thought that far ahead and were forced to participate in the war.

The Mortal Realm was where the war was forced to be held. The battle echoed throughout the land, so much so that the sounds of blades clashing could be heard from the Heavens and quaked in the Underworld.

Please god no... It hurts... It hurts so much...

The Daimonas and the Auxillo were no more and had suffered a very harsh defeat. The Daimonas were nearly reduced to nothing, and those that survived were exiled into the Underworld.

The Deorum had won by a landslide, though they did not treat this battle as a victory. The Mortal Realm had been scarred with battle, and nearly no life had remained. Demonic magic still traced throughout the land and corrupted it. The Deorum sadly could do nothing about it; however, that didn't mean they did nothing.

In response to the long and drawn out war, they built a 100 Floor tower around the area they evacuated their followers. The tower was from then on known as the Turrim, and the God's descended onto the first floor.

Caesar, the leader of the Deorum had told them that if they managed to clear all 100 floors, they would grant them whatever they may wish; however, they apologized that it wouldn't be so simple. Due to the trace of Demonic magic still lingering, monsters and creatures would be drawn to the tower. If they wanted to clear the Turrim, they had to also vanquish the fiends.

It was all a lie...

Over the course of many years, we have only made it to floor 46, though no one was forced to climb Turrim. The Doerum gave us everything we needed to start civilization here on Falsum, the first floor of the tower. Though for those that wanted to explore the Turrim, they were gifted armor and weapons from the heavens. These gifts had special magic imbued into them, and are considered Falsum Treasures that are held by the Magus Guild.

Now, after gathering many resources through the tower, nearly everyone can explore the Turrim. However, as the Deorum had said, it wouldn't be so simple, many have lost their lives to the Turrim, but they are all now in the heavens and are in a better place now. The tower made by the Deorum was made out of good will.

Everything was all A LIE!!!!

The clocktower's bell echoed throughout the town in large hums that startled the students who were invested in their lesson. The teacher stood there startled as well, but her lips curled into a small devilish smile as she stared at her students.

You poor soul. Do you wish to live?

"That will conclude our lessons for today, are there any questions? No? Good. I shall see you tomorrow, and do not forget to share what you learned today with your family. They will be happy to hear about your lessons," the teachers smile remained on her face as she spoke aloud to her students. The students greeted her back with the same smile and they began to leave.

Don't worry. I'll save you from this corrupt world.

"Don't forget to pray to the Deorum tonight!" The teacher called out to the students who were now leaving. The halls echoed with the voices of teachers as well as the voices of students talking about the day's lesson.

Though, it won't be for free.
