Mega oof

It was the day we got out of school for summer in 7th grade. The Campbells, Chase, Me, and my brother—Cash— were walking the neighborhood closest to us. It was close but we had to walk a long distance. Keller, Aiden, Rowan, and Cash ran off into the neighborhood/Creek before Chase arrived. Once Chase did arrive I went after the boys with Chase, Keira, and Reyna.

We circled a big portion of the neighborhood, got caught by one of our mom's friends, and then found the boys at another side of the creek! I kind of pushed Aiden in twice. By that I mean he stumbled a little bit into the creek. Two younger boys (like 3rd and 1st graders) that were Cash's friends were there and Keller wasn't! Aiden, Cash, and Rowan were going to go return the boys (that lived in the neighborhood). I went with them and told Keira, Chase, and Reyna to find Keller and start heading home.

The whole time we were returning the kids I was telling how irresponsible Aiden was. He let two younger kids basically run off with strangers, and told Keller the D I R E C T I O N S to the house ((KELLER HAS A HORRIBLE SENSE OF DIRECTIONS, AND CAN BARELY REMEMBER SH*T))! I also saw Rowan, who is about 9-11 years old, come back from the dark ALONE.

After arguing and talking with the boys we stopped at a random house and saw our other group of people with Keller. We all met up and started walking back home. While walking home I was talking with Reyna and she said something like, "Chase was saying stuff like, "Oh no! She probably ditched me because she likes Aiden!"" We both laughed but Aiden (who was infront of us), turned around and said, "What?" I don't know if he wasn't listening and just heard his name, or if he was completely listening.

A little later our group got a little split up and Aiden, Cash, and I walked through tall grass. Aiden started to complain how there were slugs in his sandals. Not going to lie, it was pretty funny. While getting out of the tall grass we heard a siren. I jumped into the tall grass and got down.

I thought that someone called the police and was like, "There's a group of kids disrupting traffic down blah blah blah road!"
And looked at me as if I were crazy and said, "What're you doing?" I stood up and asked, "Can you be charged as an adult yet?" Aiden replied with, "One more year." I waited a few moments until Cash told me that the sirens were from an ambulance. Not much longer after that is was well dark and we still weren't home. I was basically right next to him when he asked, "Where's Liza?" "I'm right here! Where did you think I was?" I laughed.
Aiden then said, "It's so dark that everyone looks the same height."
I shot back with, "Well it doesn't help that you're so tall."
Then Aiden shot back with, "Well I expected you'd be taller for your age."
