THEY decided to catch a room together. Demetrius and Alice by no means had feelings for each other, but this was their second time sleeping together. Last night was the Valentine's Day Ball, which was hosted by the Harris family at one of their hotels. And the best way to end the day off was making love. Demetrius and Alice wouldn't call it that though. They would tell each other that they were merely 'friends looking for comfort in an sexual way'.

There was an thick and high tension in the air as they both laid awake. Alice's bright highlighted blonde hair in a perfect mess from the night before. You'd think the girl had gotten her hair down not long ago. Her arms casually lying over the silk duvet that covered her bare chest. She stared at the beautiful painting over the ceiling.

It was a beautiful mixture of colors making the dark blue night sky with stars. She couldn't help but wonder how Max, Fallon's father got someone to paint that on the ceiling and to have it look so flawless. What a luxurious way to start the day. "We must have drank our heads off, last night." She attempted to clear the air.

"Hmm?" Demetrius asked as he was snapped out of his own thoughts and daydream. He had been thinking about the fight that he'd had with Nick before the ball. He and his father never have seen eye to eye. Most of their fights were over petty things. If Demetrius didn't represent his father well in public, they'd fought, if Nick said the wrong thing they'd fought, the list could go on. The reason for last night's fight was because Demetrius didn't want to take over the family business. He wanted to be the artist not the producer. "Personally, I don't think I've had enough."

With that Demetrius got out of the bed. Neither of them were looking for anything more in each other. Demetrius had only been in Beverly Circle for less than half of a year and the two of them already had such a great friendship. They didn't want to ruin it with a status. Demetrius got dressed, as Alice sat up, dragging the duvet with her to cover her chest.

"So I'll see you Monday," Alice spoke as Demetrius left the room. After he left Alice face paled. She was deep in her head. While Demetrius could care less about the situation, Alice didn't sleep with the same person twice unless something was happening. Her throat went dry just thinking about it. And there weren't butterflies in her stomach, instead there were lions, or maybe it's just because she hadn't eaten breakfast yet.

"Hey!"

Demetrius was startled as he stepped off the elevator. Just act cool and calm he told himself. "Fallon, what are you doing here?" He asked as he walked up to the smiling brunette. As he did, he forced a tight lip smile on his face.

The hotel had softness to it. Doormen at the entrance, employers in their perfect uniforms smiling at the guests. This was the definition of an Harris Hotel. The brunette raised a brow at her friend's question. "What do you mean, silly? This is my hotel and not to mention we just had a ball last night." Fallon said in an 'duh' tone. What she wasn't telling the guy, is that she was throwing herself into work to distract her mind off of last night's incident. Demetrius was absent during the confrontation, so she couldn't confide in him for comfort. All while she's been ignoring Alex, Xander, and even Ichika's texts and calls. It was just too awkward to face them so soon. She needed the weekend to herself, to keep from exploding.
