Narrator's POV :
It was 4:55 in the morning and Kariya was already up. He didn't exactly know WHY he woke up at this time but he was kinda glad he did. Everyone is asleep and he was free to do whatever he wants quietly.
He didn't need to get up or even move an inch away from his precious bed; all he had to do was grab his phone and do stuff. He was currently chatting with Kirino, who was already awake for some reason. Here is the conversation :
CHAT NAME : MOMMY-SENPAI <3
Baby : Ohayo, senpai~
Mommy : Why are you
even up yet ? Aren't you
supposed to be snuggled
up with your Mr. Teddy
in bed, with a pacifier in
your mouth like I had
always daydreamed
about ?
Baby : What the actual
hell, Senpai ?
Am I really just
a baby to you ?
Mommy : Yeah, pretty
much. You're my little
softball baby~
Baby : And you're my
loving mommy~
Wait...do I have
siblings n' stuff ?
Mommy : DO you want
to have siblings ? I don't
think so, crapshot.
Baby : Yuppee. I want
to be an only
child. I want it
to stay that way.
Mommy : Okie dokie then.
Say...I never actually met
your family before. When
can I meet them ?
Baby : Soon.
Mommy : Why 'soon' ?
Why not now ? I don't
think there's any
problem with meeting
your family.
Baby : They will just freak
out when they see
you. Why ? Because
they never thought
that I'd bring a trap
to an orphanage one
day to have dinner.
Mommy : Really ? A 'trap' ?
Baby : Really.
Mommy : Well, I need to
go. My step-sister wants
me to do her hair. See you.
Baby : Yeah. See you.
Kariya never understood why Kirino never complained about her step-family. The pinknette just told him that they mistreat him but he never actually heard him tell what they do inside the house.
It made him a bit concerned about his senpai. Is he okay ? What is he doing ? What do those wretched family members do to him ? 'Maybe I'm just overreacting. Senpai is fine.....I hope...'

"RANMARU !!! GET YOUR LAME BUTT OVER HERE AND HELP ME FIX MY HAIR !!!" His step-sister shouted.
In sadness, the pinknette sighed. Ever since his mother died, his father had begun hating him for no reason. He began abusing him and telling him insults & words a normal child shouldn't hear. But that's just his life, I guess.
