ALEXANDRIA

"They tried to kill her! Do you understand?!"

I stood in front of the big spacious glass window in the Cullens' residence, watching the tall pine trees.

"Are you listening? This is serious-"

"This is more than serious, this is life and death, its dangerous. They tried to kill all of us. You can't feel this way towards them. You are crazy, you are just confused."

Isabella and Jacob both ranted, waving there hands around. Everyone else was either staring like a deer in headlights, or were calm.

This "talk" had been happening for about six months now.

"They are evil! Who am I kidding--they are more than that!"Jacob yelled, out of breath.

I had been standing here. With my back towards them as I looked out the glass window, hearing them explain their disappointments, displeasures, and frustrations.

"You will not be with them. I won't allow it. As—as a matter a fact I forbid you to ever see them again."

Forbid.

I held my breath in.

That one word had struck something in me, or someone in me.

"I Forbid you-"

"You fucking forbid me?" I rapidly turned around; My voice came out stentorian, shocking those in the room with my choice of words. I walked towards her. "Who are you to forbid me anything?" The room stood silent no one daring to move or act upon as this came undone.

I let out a low chuckle.

"And you." I point at Jacob."Who are you to bloody tell me how I should feel?"

"Alexan-"

I felt it, it was like Pandora's box opening.

Evalina's words came to my mind. Closing my eyes and clenching my hands into fists, my nails digging into my palms.

"My apologies, I didn't mean to say that—I mean I did, but not like that." My voice came out soft, I opened my eyes. "I understand your concern, I really do. Listen, you more than anyone should know how hard this is and more to a human, in case you forgot I am still part human."

She nodded her head.

"It is painful. I need them and they need me. I know happened, but that had nothing to do with them or me, I stood by your side even when I knew the risks, knowing I might not see them ever again. In the end that did not happen. All I ask is little understanding from your part, this is all knew to me and I would rather go through this with you by my side than without you. I need you all right now."

"Let us out."

I shut my eyes. The throbbing in my head beginning.

Not right now, please.

"Alright."

I opened my eyes.

"You win, Lex. But if they hurt you in any way I will kill them. Do you understand?" Isabella smiled, nudging Jacob to accept to which he nodded scratching the back of his neck. I didn't miss the breath of air most let out as the tension in the room diminished.

____

I found my self walking back to my house, I looked at the clock as I entered; 11:45 PM in the night and Charlie was fast asleep on the couch.

I grabbed a creamy blanket and covered him.

"Let us out."

I quietly ran upstairs and locked myself in my room.

Please! No more!

I let out a painful whisper.

I felt it yet again. The liquid blood oozing out of my nose while the pain in my head increased, I fell to my knees, crawling to the side of my bed. I pulled out a makeshift gag from under my bed and put it on. My screams being brought down by the pressing cloth in my mouth. My eyes beginning to change my canines pressing in to my bottom lip, drawing out blood.

"We need this, let us out and you won't have to go through this again."

Nails digging deep in to my palms. Another pair of shoes ripping from the front making space for my toenails. I crawled to my window, pulling the pitch black curtains together; no light coming in. I let out a groan as I collided with the ceiling, my powers coming out. I crawled to a corner watching with wide eyes as all of my things begin to float up, or become destroyed by the immense power that was radiating out of me. Only to rapidly come back in me, dropping me back on the floor. Tiny thin cracked lines appearing in the walls and ceiling.

My dad will get hurt if I stay here.

I stood up and ran to the window opening the curtains, I jumped out.

I ran and ran until I ended up deep in the woods. I let myself fall to the ground, the twigs and leaves crunching as my body collided with them.

I yelled out in pain, my body twisted in abnormal ways.

"We are one. Unleash it."

The voice chanted. I wanted to ease my pain. To feel no more.

"Hey! What are you doing here?!"

Something had drastically changed.

I turned back to my human form, gently turning my head to the angered voice.

"Are you alright?!"

I observed the bearded man as I stood up.

"Please, I need help! I am lost and was being followed." A frightened angelic voice spoke back. "My father must be worried sick! Please, help me!"

"I-It's alright girl." I could tell he was scared at the state I was in. My face and clothes covered in blood, scrapes and twigs and dirt. "I won't hurt you."

I smiled as he walked towards me.

"Tell me what can I help you with. Do you need a phone to call your parents?"

"No."

He looked confused with my response.

"I am hungry."

I smiled at the man, showing my canines.

"You can help me with that."
