Never did I ever think in my entire life, I would become pregnant at 18. I planned on travelling the world, going to college, making tons of silly mistakes, before I settled down and had a baby. But I never knew one of the silly mistakes I would make along the way was having a baby.
It was the day I was about to break the news to my boyfirend Ashton. He was one of the sweetest guys you will ever meet in your lifetime. His smile lights up you're entire day, and his laugh makes you want to laugh at how girly he sounds. I absolutley hate seeing him sad.
I expect Ashtons reaction to me being pregnant with his kid will be happy. But at the same time, what 19 year old guy wants to be tied down to a girl with a kid? I'm bacically ruining his entire life! I take the last few steps and fianlly make it to his door. I ring the doorbell and expect to see Ashton open up, but I see Luke instead. I dont know why I was suprised, he lives here.
"Danielle? What are you doing here?" Luke asked. I walked passed him, and into the home, looking around for Ashton. "Looking for Ash," I said. "Oh hes upstairs in his bedroom." Luke said. I nodded and sprinted up the stairs, and made my way to Ashton's room. "Ash." I said, as I knoced on his door a couple times. "Yeah, come in." He called. I opened the door, to see him shirtless, with a game controller in his hand. "Dani! I missed you." He said, getting up from his bed and coming to hug me. I hugged him back and braced myself before I blurted out what I needed to say.
"Ashton, I'm pregnant." I quickly said. I stepped back from Ashton to see his reaction, and his face was blank. "Ashton, please say something." I said. "Dani, you're kidding me right?" He said. He made his way back to his bed and sat down, running his fingers through his hair. "I'm not lying Ashton, why would I lie about something so serious." I said, a bit angry now.
'You're getting rid of it right?" He asked. It? "No, Ashton, I'm not getting rif of our baby, I would never be able to live with myself if I did." I said. "Danielle, I'm not good enough to be a dad. I'm stupid, careless - " 'Ashton you're none of thoes things." I said cutting him off. "You're none of thoes things." I told him.
A single tear escaped from his eye. And he looked at me.
"Were gonna be parents, Dani." He said, smiling.
I nodded, and kissed him.
