So, as I've explained, I'm pretty much a majestical being like a unicorn or a wizard. Only unicorns are bloodthirsty and violent. And wizards are basically the kids labeled as trouble makers in your typical American public school. I should know. My best friend Duncan is you're average American white boy with his Nike socks, $200 sneakers, and baggy shorts from an athletic brand. Which makes no sense because him and athletics don't even belong in the same story. Along with being a perfect specimen of rude sexual humor and a walking science experiment on how much axe body spray it takes to knock out a person, he was my best friend, and the latest in a long line of wizards. Yeah. And they wonder why American public schools have so many behavioral issues.

In this case Duncan was trying to use his powers to make an entire hamburger, I don't even know why they call it that it's not like it's real meat anyways, fit into his already way too large and loud mouth.

"Heh ammahhh" he says around large chunks of gray mush and ketchup. I wrinkle my nose in disgust and begin to nibble at the corner of the wonderful, greasy, cheesy mess we call pizza. Duncan swallows the blob and his eyes glimmer green with mischief.
"Hey Anna you feel like helping Brody and I initiate the new guy?"

I tilt my head in confusion. The initiation I knew about. It was tradition for all transfer students to receive a little "welcome to crapville" prank from the schools most prominent mischief makers, which of course happened to be Duncan and his cousin Brody. What I didn't know was that we had a new student. That's when I heard the collective gasp of the cheer squad, a mass of spray tans and sparkly lip gloss, and whip my head around to face possibly, no definitely , the most attractive guy I had ever seen. And before you start to "ship" us just know I had no interest in dating him. None at all but hot damn he was good looking.

With light brown hair and startling golden eyes that could be seen across the overcrowded cafeteria he was over six feet of pure attractiveness. And by the arrogant yet shy way he carried himself across the room and sat at our little corner of hell, I knew I was going to hate him with every ounce of my being immediately.
