It was 10:35pm, sky's already dark and already filled and surrounded by millions of stars and lighted by the moon above.
'Probably a perfect time to talk to that one person until you fell asleep.' Jaebeom thought.
Jaebeom was comfortably lying on the bed, smile all over his face, dialing the younger's phone. For he had promised him to call after dinner because he asked for it.
After seconds of ringing, the brunette answered.
"Hello, hyung!" He greeted in his jolly voice that Jaebeom can't help but find it cute making him chuckled.
He actually find everything cute when it comes to Youngjae.
He's whipped.
Snapping back to reality, he cleared his throat and replied with the same energy, "Hi, Jae! How are you?" He added.
"Good, and then you?" The brunette replied.
"I'm always good. So yeah, I called again. Did you missed me, huh?" He said in his smug face.
He's hoping that the younger would say 'Yes! I do missed you, hyung.'
And the younger did, making the older smile from ear to ear like his eyes was just only two flat line under his eyebrows, "Of course. I missed you, hyung!"
"Awe. I missed you too, Jae." He bit his lip, suppressing himself not to smile too much.
"Hmp, really though?" Youngjae said in a sulky tone.
"Yes, of course. As always... " The older admitted, sincerity in his voice was evident.
"... How about you? Didn't you missed me, huh?" He asked back, imitating the younger's tone.
"What do you think?" Youngjae replied.
"Tell me!" The impatient older whined, eyebrows knitted.
"I did-" The brunette whispered, giving the older trouble in hearing his statement.
"What?" Jaebeom asked.
"I said I did!" The younger retorted.
"Okay, okay." Jaebeom chortled as he continuously moved from his bed, adjusting his position.
Youngjae giggled as a response.
"But go home already. I missed you so much." The older frowned a bit.
He seriously missed the person whom he wants to cuddle at night. He longed for his warm hugs together with his soft kisses. Especially him.
"Soon, hyung. Just wait. You seriously missed me, eh?" Youngjae teasingly said as he giggled.
Jaebeom smilingly nodded, "I'll wait for that, Jae."
"Let's watch End Game, hyung!" Youngjae squealed making the older flinched, moving away the phone from his ear.
"Okay, let's watch it! But first, let's save money hmm?" putting back the phone beside his ear, Jaebeom chuckled to his remarks.
"Of course, hyung!" The younger laughed.
Talking about the things they'll do once they see each other and how they missed talking to each other, they didn't noticed the time was passing by too fast.
Youngjae murmured, "Hyung?"
"Yes, Jae?" The older replied, smile crept from his lips.
"Nothing~" The brunette replied as he giggled.
Jaebeom hissed, shaking his head in disbelief. The younger been doing that for the nth time in their calls tonight. Calling him and then when you respond he'll just say nothing.
The older smirked, "You just missed me, Jae." He then chuckled.
Youngjae mumbled, "Hmm~ Of course."
Jaebeom smiled, hearing the younger yawned after he spoke. So he asked the brunette, "Aren't you gonna sleep already?"
"Not yet. Maybe later~" The younger yawned again under his breath.
Jaebeom can't help himself but smiled from ear to ear. Knowing that he can still talk to the brunette.
"Then just tell me if you're sleepy, okay? I'll let you sleep." He stated, leaning his head to his arm.
Youngjae hummed softly as a reply.
Not too soon when Youngjae's line became silent.
'He probably fell asleep already. Aigoo.' The older said at the back of his mind.
"Hey there, Jae. You still awake?" He asked, expecting the younger to just snore at him or whatever.
Youngjae just moaned lightly, clearly that he's already sleeping. Jaebeom chuckled at the act. He really can't trust Youngjae when it comes to his sleeping habits and such.
"There, sleep already. Let me here you sleep." He smiled, now whispering over the phone.
"Just let me say what I wanted to say. You won't hear it anyways." The older said. But he's also hoping that the younger would hear it.
"I wanted to say that you're cute. I missed you so much. I'm always here for you, no matter what. You're very important to me. I can't afford to lose you. I'll stay with you. "
"What else?" He halted as he thinks of other things to say.
"Uhm, I missed you, I missed you, and I missed you again." He added, smile forming from his lips as he emphasized every words he said.
"I love you, Jae. I'll see you soon. Goodnight sleepy head." The older heaved a sigh before he ended the call.
"I will definitely sleep with a big smile, ain't I?" He chuckled lowly mumbling to himself, putting the phone on his desk as he turned off the lamp and closed his eyes after.
