In a moment, I did not feel anything. All the pain that was in me just a few minutes ago had just evaporated... a little as if it had never existed. And yet, she was real.

I saw people disappear in front of me, as if by magic. I saw them burned to ashes. I saw in Mr. Stark's eyes, total incomprehension. But I quickly knew we had lost.

Doctor Strange warned us, however, that we only have one chance out of more than 14,000,605 to win. Unfortunately, we did not have that chance.
Thanos won.

Something abnormal had happened, and in a snap, half of the universe had disappeared. I disappeared.

Mr. Stark had seen me disappear. I felt a strong pain all over my body and in just a few seconds, it's like squeezing thousands of knives all over the body. My hair bristles. I was terribly cold, yet I was choking. Drops of sweat beaded on my forehead. I felt frozen with terror. I was shaking uncontrollably. I first felt my legs to steal under me, then they disappeared. And that's where I said my last words as Peter Parker:

"I am sorry."

I felt death. I was terrified and downright petrified by fear. I could not bear to look Mr. Stark straight in the eye, so I turned my head to the other side and left...

And now, I found myself in a new place... all alone...

Around me, everything was black. The first thing I did was touch my hands, my legs and my face. I did not doubt it, I was full.
Yet I was plunged into nothingness, in the darkness of loneliness. No noise, no trace of life, I was alone. So to be dead was that? it was to be alone in a complete nothingness? I was condemned to wander alone, lost in the eternity of nothingness?

And the tunnel then? The famous tunnel that everyone was talking about when one dies, where is he?

I thought immediately of Aunt May. Had she suffered the same fate as me? Maybe I was going to find her? And Ned?

I felt frozen with terror. I felt a chill of anguish. I had cold sweats. My hands were clenched and I was alert.

Suddenly, a white light caught my attention. She came out of nowhere and yet an irresistible urge to follow her was born in me. I fell awkwardly into nothingness as I felt my hair stand on my head. Suddenly, I heard a hoarse voice say one word:

"Peter!"

Immediately, as if by magic, appeared before me Doctor Strange and his red cape. For a few seconds, I remained frozen on the spot.
I was not alone! Thank God !
His eyes did not leave me looking. He stared at me as I felt my heart speed up.

"Doctor Strange!" I exclaimed in my turn, widening my eyes. "I... I thought I was alone!" I turned on myself, frowning. I saw only darkness. "Where are we?"

"Peter," he whispered, "I said we had only one chance to win... I guess we are in a parallel dimension."

"Does it really exist?" I asked, staring at him.

"Of course."

"So we are not dead?"

"No, Peter, we're all alive," he said. "You are the last to join us."

What? The last to join them? Join who? Aunt May and Ned?
My eyes widened as I searched for answers to my many questions.

"Follow me."

The red cape was behind me as I let myself be guided by Doctor Strange. As we went along, the white light seemed to get bigger. And soon, I came out of nothingness. Curious, I took a look behind me, I observed while the tunnel was behind me.
