Azazel let the others down a maze of streets until they reached a creepy looking house on the edge of town, windows were broken, the door was half way off its hinges, and from what Shaw, Riptide, and Emma could make out in the darkness; a desperate need of a paint job. All in all, it didn’t look like a place that was inhabited.

“Why didn’t we just teleport here again?” Emma complained as she once again stepped in a puddle of rainwater.

“It could’ve attracted attention. People don’t usually just appear out of thin air.” Azazel growled. “Now remember what I told you, the two mutants in here may be young but are very dangerous.”

“Carry on Azazel we don’t have all night.” Shaw ushered.

Azazel glared back at him but continued forward passed the rusting black gate and through the over grown yard. He motioned for them to stop and heard Riptide give a huff of impatience before going inside the house alone. The shadows seemed to grow larger and darker the farther he walked into the building, a light sound could be heard just under the sound of the creaking floorboards, Azazel couldn’t quite make it out but knew he shouldn’t be afraid like the maker of them wanted, the question was where was the other child? The sound came again from his right and Azazel whipped around and grabbed the person by their throat, they squirmed for a few seconds before calming down and teleporting in front of him.

            “Where’s your sister?”

“Around.” The young fourteen year old replied as he shook some black hair out of his face. “Upstairs.”

“Bring her down I have some friends I want you to meet.”

Azazel watched him teleport again and a short scream came from the floor above him before two children appeared in black smoke. They followed him silently outside and into an alley where the others were now waiting.

“You want us to let children join?” Riptide asked skeptically. “They won’t last very long.”

Azazel ignored him and put a hand on each of the kids’ shoulders. “I would like you to meet Acheron and Pandora; my children.”

“Welcome to the group.” Shaw smiled as he sized the two up.

Acheron raised his head and flicked his crimson tail back and forth; he was the splitting image of his father except for his darker, blood red coloring, and the pure obsidian black eyes. Pandora on the other hand didn’t look like him at all, she had pale skin that looked as if it hadn’t ever seen the light, silver hair that seemed to glow in the dim moonlight, and eyes that flickered a light golden-silver coloring.

“Can we leave now? I think it’s about to rain again and I don’t feel like getting soaked.” Emma spoke up again.

“I can teleport us back.” Azazel replied before making sure they were all holding onto each other and standing in a line.

Shaw nodded to him to say they were all ready and Azazel focused on the yacht before closing his eyes and teleporting all of them. They appeared on the yacht in a red cloud and broke apart to deal with their own jobs until only Acheron, Pandora, and Azazel were left on deck. He looked at his children in faint amusement as they took in the ocean around them before leading them around.

“Come on let’s get you settled in.” He told them as he led them below deck and into some spare rooms. Emma had said their enemies were recruiting; well now they had some recruits of their own.
