move in day

I am so exited. It;s the first time that i can see Chris after being in England all summer and not being able to see her. my parents are finally pulling into the dorm drop of area at my new school phillips exeter academy. i am in the dorm Dunbar and according to what have heard it is the best dorm out of the twenty six on campus.the building is solely made out of old brick and is covered in ivy on one side of it.

the door is propped open and older girls are standing on the walkway holding papers. i get out of the car and practically run right into the dorm not being able to look at what my new home looks like. A girl approaches m and tells me my room number and my key that i will have for the rest of the year. I go back outside to help my parents bring everything up to the fourth floor which hold my room.

when we finally get up to my room and as soon as i open the door a wave of color and clutter hits my like an earthquake. I don't know why i expected her to not bring a lot of clothes but that ok it Christina i can't be mad at her. when she see's me she screams and runs over to me nearly tackling me to the ground.

" I missed you to chris" i say as she lays on top of me in a bone crushing hug and she laughs and finally gets up

-------TIME LAPSE---------

after unpacking all of my clothes and setting up my side of the room my parents leave me and Chris to ourselves for some "catching up".

we both decide that we should go down to the common room and meet some of the other new girls. there aren't a lot of new lowers (which os what the call sophomores) but thats okay with me.

after meeting all of the new girls we decide to go meet up with some people that Christina had met before i got here. she takes me to a place called grill which is basically a mini cafe. we head over to one of the tables with a few other people already sitting there.

"tris this is marlene, uriah, zeke, shauna, lynn,will, and four. when she says four i look over at him and his eyes immediately draw me in. they look so familiar. i just can't place here i have seen them before.

we spend abut an hour just talking and i found out that all of them are new lowers like Christina and i. All of the boys are in the dorm webster that just got renovated and happens to be right next to my dorm and marlene, Shauna and Lynn are all in amen which happens to be in the same quad as the rest of us.

we spend the rest of the night together and when it comes time for check in we head back to our separate dorms and spend the first night at a boarding school.
