Summer time. A time to relax, and get rid of the stress of the year, to have fun. Both the Midoriya and the Bakugou families were doing just that, on a camping trip.

The two families had already set up camp, in a small opening in the woods. It was right next to a farm, so there wasn't too much worry, if something did go wrong. Two tents were set up, one for the three adults, and one for the two boys to share, and a fire pit was set up.

While this was a normal thing for families to do in the middle of July, there was an ulterior motive behind this trip. You see, these families live in a world, where the abnormal is normal, where almost everyone had these superpowers called quirks. And as you can imagine, people would abuse these quirks for their own good. These people were called villains. And as such, the government trained and hired people to deal with these villains. People called heroes. It was a risky job being a hero, but it was also a popular one. Every child wanted to be a hero, so naturally they would be excited when their quirks finally show up, around the age of four. The age of the two boys.

Katsuki had already gotten his quirk. It evolved the sweat glands on his palms to produce a sweat that was similar to nitroglycerin. A substance that can cause explosions when heated. It was a very impressive and powerful quirk, everyone assumed he would be a powerful hero when he grew up, and they wouldn't be wrong.

Izuku on the other hand, did not get his quirk, and was diagnosed quirkless just a week before the trip. Izuku was one of those kids that absolutely adored heroes, and probably wanted to a hero the most out of anyone. But because of his condition, that dream of his was highly inappropriate, and was not recommended under any circumstances. A fact that tore Izuku apart. His dreams of being a hero like his idol, All Might, were crushed to oblivion, just because he had an extra joint in his toe.

It was unfair, unjust. Izuku had a heart of gold, and the true mindset of a hero, that part was obvious long before he was tested. Yet he, he was the one that got unlucky. They said that twenty percent of the population did not have a quirk, but upon further research, it revealed that the majority of the quirkless were elderly people who lived in a time where quirks weren't so common. In fact, Izuku actually fit a small percentage, less than one percent of children are born without quirks. It only made Izuku's situation even more unfair.

Inko seeing how utterly depressed Izuku was at ,this news, arranged a camping trip with their old friends, the Bakugous. She had told Mitsuki and Masaru about Izuku's condition and why she wanted to do this. The husband and wife, being sympathetic and liking the idea of a joint camping trip, wholeheartedly accepted. Inko had also told them to not talk about Izuku's quirkless nature as well as not tell Katsuki. She knew Katsuki was a proud boy who respects strength above all else. The knowledge of Izuku's quirkless nature would only dampen their relationship, and would cause Izuku even more harm. They agreed with this as well.

That night, after they arrived, Katsuki woke up Izuku to go out walking in the woods. Izuku was hesitant at first, but relented after Katsuki's insistence. The pair were walking along a trail, with Katsuki telling Izuku stories of the monsters that lurked in those woods, and telling him that they had already gotten the farmer, who was just gone, left and hadn't return. He didn't inform the families of anything. He left without a word, it was definitely strange but, the families just talked it up to having some business to take care of. Izuku did not like any of these tales, it didn't help that that night was a full moon.

The two had walked into an opening, and stopped. Katsuki used the torch he brought to look around. Seeing nothing out of the ordinary, took a step forward, stepping on something soft. Out of utter confusion of what could possibly be that soft, Katsuki looked down, using his torch to see what he had stepped on.

Something he immensely regretted.

Looking down what looked like a pale log, but on closer inspection, it was an arm. An arm attached to the top half of a body.

It was the farmer.

The farmer that had mysteriously disappeared was right at their feet. At least his top half was. Izuku wanted to throw up, and Katsuki paled. It was incredibly gruesome. He could see the man's entrails strung about behind him, and the blood that was pooling there. It looked like he was torn apart, but what could have possibly done that? Katsuki tried his best to look away but couldn't. He was frozen, in both fear and shock. The smell was putrid, it surprised him that they hadn't smelled it as they were walking towards the corpse.

Katsuki had thought that the stories he was telling couldn't possibly be real, he was just making stuff up to give Izuku a little scare. But it seemed there was some truth to what he had said.

Katsuki may seem like an abrasive knucklehead, but in truth, he was actually quite smart. He saw that the blood leaking out, was still pink, and bubbly. It meant that this wound was very fresh, and that whatever did this was probably still close by.

As if to prove that point, there was an audible growl. Being in a closed forest made it sound like it was coming from all directions. This brought the pair out of their shock, as they ran back towards the camp. As they were running, they could hear stomping, branches breaking and deep grunts. Whatever it was, it was following them. This motivated the two to push beyond the limits off what their little legs could achieve.

Izuku, being the clumsy boy that he is, tripped on a root, which caused him to tumble down into a small opening. Katsuki saw this, and immediately stopped to try and help his friend, when he saw a shape leap out of the trees and into the opening with impressive height. It landed mere feet away from Izuku and looked hungrily at the child.

Izuku was understandably terrified. This creature was large, very large, probably about eight feet tall. It was on all fours and seemed incredibly muscular, as well as being canine in appearance. What terrified Izuku the most was that this thing had large fangs and claws, and its eyes were glowing red.

Katsuki did not hesitate. This creature was going to hurt his friend, and he was not going to let that happen. He used his explosions to propel himself towards the beast, as it lunges towards Izuku. Izuku yelled in pain as the creature bit into his leg. He could hear his bones cracking as its jaw tightened around his leg. Pain was flaring throughout his body, as his mind was going numb. It was at this point that Katsuki had joined the fray. He fired off the biggest explosions he could produce right into the creature's back. A move that worked.
The creature yelped in pain as its vice like grip on Izuku's leg loosened. It let go of Izuku's leg and then proceeded to run back into the woods without any further resistance.

Katsuki, on a good day, would have pursued the creature until he could end it for good. But right now, he had a friend that was wounded who needed help. Katsuki took off his shirt and wrapped it around Izuku's leg to stop the bleeding. He then picked up Izuku and rushed all the way back to camp. Katsuki didn't notice this but halfway through the trip back to camp, the wound on Izuku's leg, had completely healed.

[Author's notes]
So, how did you like the new fanfic so far? Weren't expecting it so soon? Well I wasn't either until I had an idea I wanted to try. I was rewatching Teen Wolf as I do on a Tuesday, and thought it would be a good idea to do a crossover. I was so excited that I immediately went to planning. And here is the result.

I'll still be writing the other fanfic, but I'm afraid I'll be switching in between the two. As I have a little break from college that lasts for the week. You'll be getting new chapters daily, but I'll be taking turns on which fanfic I update.

Leave your comments on what you thought of this new fanfic. I really want to know.

Anyways, that's all I got time for today. Peace.
