Meeting one's hero

Hi, sorry for the late update. Don't really have an excuse this time. Anyway, this author's notes is a warning that I was in a very strange mood while writing this, so bear with me. Anyway enjoy the chapter.

Life moves on with the three friends. It has been three years since they met up with Mina, and they've only grown closer. Close enough that Izuku has started to notice that Mina has been getting a lot more comfortable. Comfortable enough that she has been hugging him a lot more than she used to. It was weird that she wasn't hugging Katsuki at all, maybe she was just scared of his abrasive personality. If it wasn't for the fact that he could heal from most wounds, he would be as well.

It was a normal day at middle school for the three. Today was the day they thought about their futures, and what career path they wanted to take. Unsurprisingly, everyone wanted the hero course. Katsuki was bold enough to make some prideful remarks, that the whole class either shouted at him or cowered away. Unless their names were Izuku or Mina who rolled their eyes while chuckling. It was end of the school day, and the friends all went their separate ways. Izuku was quietly humming to his music while walking under a bridge.

If it wasn't for his wolf like hearing, he wouldn't have heard slushing sounds coming from behind him. Sensing danger, he jumped away from a slime tendril. He flipped mid air, so he would face the thing that attacked him. It was a slime creature, with eyes and teeth. It looked both terrifying and comical. Izuku could tell the thing was displeased when it missed, and so it tried again. Quick question, if it wasn't able to hit him while he was not prepared, how was it going to when he was? Answer: I don't bloody know (yes, I'm British)

So where was I? Ah right, the slime creature tried to attack Izuku again, even though it tried and failed while Izuku wasn't paying much attention but still thought 'I should be able to do it eventually'. Sure buddy, but I digress. Izuku obviously avoided that attack, and so the thing tried again.

This went on for a while until All Might comes jumping out of the man hole. What? I was not expecting that, even though this scene has parodied so many freaking times (can you tell, I'm in a sarcastic mood today?). Izuku seeing this, jumped over the slime creature, flipping for style, and landed next to
All Might, who was now ready to punch the slime creature into the next century. Or just all over the street, I don't care. Also why didn't Izuku jump over the creature before, and climbed a wall or something? I know the thing is fast and all but I'm pretty sure climbing is not in its résumé. Also how do I not know these things when I'm writing it. Obviously logic, is not in my résumé.

And sorry, I'm turning this into a rant, back to the story. Izuku being the lovable fanboy that he was, started talking a mile an hour, asking questions, saying how cool All Might was et cetera, et cetera. All Might, who was used to this by now, still wondered how he could form coherent sentences at that rate of talking. Not knowing how to respond to all of it, he just laughed (like how I deal with my problems), and thanked Izuku for his continued support, while awkwardly cleaning up the slime creature. Seriously did the werewolf bite put Izuku's fanboyisms into overdrive or something?

Anyway, All Might had finished cleaning, and had jumped away. The gust of wind should have been enough to signal to Izuku that his idol had left. But no, he continued his fanboyisms, without slowing the rate of speech. How a hyper aware werewolf misses this is beyond me, or how his lung capacity is apparently infinite. Anyway, Izuku eventually notices his alone now, seeing the strange looks his getting from on lookers, he quickly, puts his earphones back in and casually walks away.

See what I mean. Reading this back, I seem really sassy. More sassy than I usually am, something I usually try to keep away from my writing. Obviously that failed. Normally I wouldn't publish this but I'm actually kind of interested in your reactions so I'll do it anyway.
