Red.

Where am I? What's that beeping? Wait-

Your eyes shot open as you heaved in air. You realised there were groans coming from somewhere near you, and your fight or flight responses kicked in. You could see that your legs were bare, covered in splotches of something dark and dry, and the room in front of you was flashing red.

When you tried to get up, you felt something slam you back down onto the table you were on, only to realise you were cuffed to it. Panicking even more once you started to see something come closer to you in your peripheral vision, you pulled on the chains with all your strength, hearing the satisfying crack of metal.

Come on come on!

Clang!

Finally, it broke, but you were too late to celebrate.

The... thing, was already next to you, flailing its arms to grab your arm, only for you to smash its head with your strength into the side of the metal table. You heard a satisfying crunch when its head broke apart into fragments, but you weren't very pleased with the stench of rotten flesh and blood on your hand. Breaking the other chain by propelling yourself towards the side of the dead monster, you got up fast enough to smash the other monsters head into the table.

When you calmed down a bit after the commotion, you saw a gun of some sorts, flashing blue on the ground. Picking it up, you examined it. Quite cute, better be useful, but...

What happened here?

You were interrupted by a hologram of a person - a woman to be exact - who looked deep in thought. Suddenly you started to hear voices which you believed were coming from the holograms.

"y/n... we made it powerful... but not powerful enough. Our little test subject, if only you could have been better, stronger. Don't let it escape, it will destroy us, our project."

Me? What does she mean I'm not powerful? I just killed two assholes! Why are those people bowing to where I was?

The hologram vanished before you could punch it in the face, leaving you to have a bitter taste in your mouth. She looks familiar... her name, what was her name?

You started walking to the door that opened, seeing a familiar set of armour on the wall.

f/c... I like it.

You started to approach the armour and touch the breastplate... only for your eyes to shut when you started to see spasms of red, orange, yellow... Hell.

There was screaming, symbols, blood, fire, everything. You started to see monsters, which you realised were demons, and a figure.

A figure in the armour exactly like yours.

It was green though, but you didn't understand who they were, and they seemed to be holding a variety of guns towards these demons, fire to fire...

It all stopped. Your brain felt fuzzy from all that just flashed in your mind.

What was that? Who was that?

You had to get out of here.

Picking up the breastplate, you put on the set one by one, leaving the helmet that looked like that person's in your vision. You picked it up, examined its small details, and finally placed it on your head and locking it in place. You started to see a hologram of sorts showing your health, where you needed to go and other things you didn't know about.

Thankfully, there was a new gun on your side resting near where your armour was. How convenient.

you started to walk towards the door that was possibly the exit, you were ready to face what was head-on.

I need to get out of here... but I know I'm alone. What about that person?

You were battling inside your head if you should find them, but you decided that you'll try.

It's better than leaving a fellow soldier behind.

Give me any requests ;D (p.s I may or may not do a lemon. Not a big fan of writing those! Just message me and talk to me about it.)
