the big night

It was finally friday night. I had on my dress and heels and my hair and makeup were done. My blonde hair was half up half down and it was loosely curled. My makeup was a natural colored smokey eye with pale pink lipstick.

I heard the doorbell ring. I went downstairs to see Cole standing in the doorway talking to my brother. He was wearing a black suit with a white shirt and a dark blue tie that matched my dress. He looked great. He stood there talking to my brother when he looked up at me. I was at the top of the stairs looking down at him. I walked down the stairs over to where him and my brother were standing. "You look amazing" he said. "Thanks so do you" I replied. Then Hunter took pictures of us together and told us not to have too much fun and gave Cole a death glare that said if you hurt my sister I'll frigging kill you.

When we got to the dance there was music and food and punch and decorations and well dressed people dancing everywhere. Cole walked over to the punch bowl to get us some punch and I mingled with some of my friends. He came back and after we finished our punch a slow song came on. Cole asked me to dance and while we were dancing I realized the song was Superman. I looked up at Cole and he said he requested the song. After that we just swayed back and forth with his hands on my waist and mine wrapped around his neck. When the song ended Cole leaned down and kissed me. It wasnt just a peck either it was a long kiss on the lips. I kissed him back. Our lips were moving insync. My lips parted and his tongue slipped in my mouth. It tasted like mint. He explored every inch of my mouth with his tongue. The kiss lasted for a few more seconds until finally he pulled away. I didn't want him to but everyone had stopped dancing and they were all staring at us now. My face turned red. Cole looked at them and said "what? You've never seen a guy kiss his girlfriend before?" They all looked away and continued what they were doing. I couldnt help but think to myself though, since when am I his girlfriend? Does that kiss mean we are dating now or was he just saying that?
