Chapter 21: Part 1

It was around 8pm, China was all alone inside his room. After what happened moments ago, he felt so upset and depress. It's like his whole heart just shattered into a million pieces, and he felt empty inside. He heard a knock on the door and went over to open it to see his close friend, Taiwan.

China: "Hēi Táiwān, what are you doing here?"

Taiwan: "I just want to know if you're okay, you've been in your room for hours"

China let's Taiwan inside his room, both of them sat down on China's bed and Taiwan felt concerned. Taiwan patted China's shoulder to comfort him and China was tearing up a bit.

Taiwan: "Oh my..why are you crying China, tell me"

China sobbed and gripped on the sheets tightly, he's really not himself today. Taiwan didn't know what to do and he hugged China, he doesn't like seeing his close friend crying. China hugged back and wiped his tears away, he looked at the other country and calmed himself down.

China: "I wanted to confess Philip how I feel...but"

Taiwan: "But what?"

China: "He's already in a relationship with Spain"

Silence filled the room and China started to cry again.

Taiwan: "Don't cry China..please"

China calmed down and thanked Taiwan for comforting him, putting his hand on Taiwan's. Taiwan blushed bright red and turned his head slightly to the right.

Taiwan: "N-No problem Chin...maybe someday, someone's going to love you"

China: "Who would even love a country like me Tai..."

Said China, looking at the floor mopping. Taiwan stared at China and then turned away, "Me..." Taiwan said quietly.

China: "What did you just say?"

Taiwan turned around facing at China, stuttering, panicking and blushing madly while shaking his hands around. China said okay and looked at the floor once again. Taiwan sighed in relief. He doesn't want to confess his feelings torwards China now, not at a time and moment like this. He had a crush on him for years, of course he knew that China had feelings for Philip before but that didn't stop him from falling in love with him.

China: "Thanks for comforting me Taiwan, you're really a great friend"

Taiwan: "It's my pleasure Chin...anything to make you feel happy"

Both of them looked into each others eyes and silence filled the room once again. Taiwan noticed that China's still holding his hand, which made him blush a little. China leaned closer to Taiwan, making him blush even more then Taiwan quickly stood up.

Taiwan: "I-I should be going home now China, Cuba might get mad if i'm not coming home yet"

China: "Xíng, kěyǐ i'll see ya later Tai"

Taiwan: "Alright...bye China"

Taiwan left and closed the door, leaving China alone in his room again. China grabbed his phone and looked through his photo gallery, he kept on swiping and swiping through and then suddenly stopped. It was a photo of him and Philip again. He sighed and turned off his phone, he stood up from his bed and went over to the window. The moonlight's shining through his face.

China: *sigh* "How am I suppose to make Philip mine now..."

???: "Maybe I can help you China"
