"Mom" said Trunks opening the door. "MOM" shouted Trunks again, but then paused seeing Bulla walking up to him. "Mom went to grandpa's house" she said, as he sighed. "Where's dad?" he asked, as she narrowed her eyes. "Where he always is, geez don't be stupid" she said flicking her hair and walked passed him. "Where are you going?" he asked, as she turned her towards him. "Shopping duh" she said, as Trunks sighed. "Come on Trunks focus" said Goten, as Trunks nodded and they made their way to the backyard seeing the capsule spaceship. Trunks knocked on it and then the ship opened. Vegeta walked out and looked at them. "What are you two doing here?" asked Vegeta, as they looked at each other. "Well..." said Trunks, as Vegeta raised an eyebrow towards them.

Meanwhile I was sitting along the beach just looking out at the sunset. "Rei" said a voice, as I turned my head looking at the elder. "Looking at the view again are we?" he asked smiling. "Ah yes, it gives me a warm feeling" I said looking out. "Just like your mother" he said, as I paused and looked at him putting his hands behind his back and looking out to the ocean. "Elder" I said, as he glanced at me. "Can't you tell me anything about my father? I mean you told me everything about my mother and I am grateful but my dad-"Enough" said the elder interrupting me. "Your father was a murderer and he shall not be spoken of" he said walking away from me. I sat back down and looked at the ocean while holding onto the wristband. "I remember her words" I mumbled. "Your mama and papa can't be with you, but remember we love you with all our hearts my little Rei. Be strong, caring and brave like your papa" "How can he be a murderer if mom was so set on me being like him" I said, as I hugged my legs and just watched the ocean's sunset. I then paused hearing a swooshing sound. I looked around but couldn't see it. I then looked up and my eyes widened seeing the same boys as before flying in the sky. It looked so cool. I looked at my feet and jumped in the air only to fall down on my butt. I sighed and then lowered my head. "REI" shouted a voice, as I turned my head seeing Yumi waving me over. "My mom says you can stay the night again if you want" said Yumi, as I nodded walking over to her. Later that night Yumi was on her bed and I was sitting on a sleeping bag. "He actually said that" said Yumi giving me a cup of hot cocoa. I nodded and she growled. "I can't believe he would say that" she said, as I blew on my cocoa and just looked at my reflection in it. "Do you think I should go see those boys tomorrow?" I asked, as Yumi stopped and blinked a few times looking at me. "Why?" asked Yumi, as I placed a piece of hair behind me right ear. "They seemed to recognize my wristband... maybe they can tell me something about my dad" I said, as Yumi paused. "How do you even know your dad gave it to you?" asked Yumi, as I paused. "I don't, but the elder already told me everything about my mom I think if they had any information on it about her even wearing this every day and why they would give it to me" I said, as Yumi glanced at my wristband. "I don't know they seemed kind of weird, especially the one with black hair" said Yumi, as I paused. "You really think so?" I asked, as Yumi nodded. "Girls go to sleep" said Yumi's mother, as Yumi sighed and got up opening the door tosee her mother tapping her foot while crossing her arms. "At least let us finish our cocoa" said Yumi, as her mother nodded and walked away. Yumi sighed and then looked at me. "Alright" said Yumi, as I paused and then looked at her. "Alright?" I questioned. "We can go see those guys" she said, as I smiled "How do you expect to find them anyway?" she asked "One of them had a capsule cooperation logo jacket on" I said, as Yumi smirked and then nodded. "Ok well I'm finished night Rei" said Yumi falling asleep. When I knew Yumi was finally asleep I walked towards her window and looked at the moon. "I can't wait to find you dad. I know you would never kill someone without a good reason. I bet you were trying to protect mom" I whispered smiling sadly at the moon. When I finished my cocoa I soon went to sleep in the sleeping bag.

The next day I was breathing heavily and Yumi smiled at me. "Come on Rei or we'll miss the bus" she said, as I sighed. What I wouldn't give to fly right now was all that was in my mind. We soon stopped at the city and looked around. "Oh wow, we have to go shopping" said Yumi smiling excitedly. "Yumi focus we're here to find information on my dad" I said, as she nodded nervously. "Right, right" she said, as we started walking through the city. We soon stopped at a large building and walked in. "Can I help you" asked a girl with blonde hair smiling sweetly. "Uh... well" I said, as Yumi stepped in front of me. "Yes we are here to see the two boys who entered the tournament. One of them was wearing this company's logo" said Yumi, as the woman blinked a few times. "Uh, I'm sorry we don't have anyone like that here" she said, as our eyes widened. "But, he was wearing the blue jacket from this company" I said, as she paused. "I'm sorry we have no such thing as a company jacket, and you can basically buy the logos anywhere to support our devices" she said, as we then walked out I sighed and leaned my back against the wall. "Now what?" I asked, as Yumi smiled with her eyes sparkling. "Go ahead" I said, as she squealed hugging me and then ran off to go shopping. I sighed just standing there and paused hearing shouting. "WAIT" shouted a voice, as I turned my head down the street seeing an elderly man with glasses and a lab coat. He stopped in front of me and I blinked a few times looking down at him. "I heard your conversation" he said, as I just stood there looking at him. "It sounds as though your talking about my grandson Trunks" he said, as my eyes widened and I smiled. "Yes, that's him, I'm looking for him" I said, as he smiled and held out a card towards me. "They live a bit of ways away from town so my daughter can work on her inventions there" he said, as I smiled brightly and bowed my head. "Thank you so much" I said taking the business card and ran to get Yumi. "YUMI" I shouted, as we then got on a bus and travelled a ways even further away from town. We stopped at a circular house with the company logo on the side. "Rei it's getting kind of late and we are already out so far" said Yumi, as I smiled at her. "It's okay Yumi you can go home. I know your mother gets worried sick if your out too late" I said, as she hugged me while smiling. "Come back safe" she said, as I nodded watching her go on the bus back home. I gulped looking at this place and then my eyes widened seeing three figures fly by and land in the back of the building. I walked over and peeked behind seeing the two boys from the tournament and another man who was a bit shorter with black hair and eyes. "I can't believe this" said the shorter male. "Dad calm down we don't even know if that was Broly's wristband or not we didn't get a good look at it" said Trunks, as I stopped and looked down at my wristband. Broly? Was that my father? I continued to watch, but then I jumped when a hand went on my shoulder. "AHH" I shouted, as I turned my head seeing a woman with short hair. "Wow I really scared you huh?" she said, as I sighed in relief. I then gulped as the three guys came over towards me. "Ah, the girl from the tournament" said Trunks, as I took a few steps back and they took a few steps closer. "Hold it" said the woman, as they stopped. "But mom" said Trunks, as she crossed her arms. "Stop it both of you, this girl came here as our guest we have no right to back her into a corner. Besides she looks completely harmless" she said, as they went quiet. "I'm so sorry about them. They get real excited when they know things about their own Saiyan race" she said, as I paused. "Saiyan?" I questioned, as she paused. "Whoops did I say that? I meant simian" she said waving her hand up and down. I looked at the two boys sighing in relief but paused as the man was narrowing his eyes at me. "So how can we help you... uh?" she questioned. "Rei... my name is Rei" I said, as she smiled. "I am Bulma, this is my husband Vegeta, our son Trunks and his best friend Goten" she said, as I bowed my head. "Pardon my intrusion I didn't mean to cause a disturbance" I said, as she smiled. "Aren't you a sweet girl, your mother must be so proud" she said, as I paused and smiled sadly. "Yes... I think she is" I said, as it went quiet. "So uh Rei" said Trunks, as I turned to him. "Why are you here?" he asked, as I took a deep breath. "I want you to tell me about my dad" I said, as their eyes widened. "How would we know your dad?" asked Goten "Cause you recognized this" I said holding out my wristband. Vegeta's eye widened and he held my arm. "This is a saiyan's wristband where did you get this?" he asked. "I don't know, the elder gave it to me but no one will tell me where they got it. I thought maybe you knew because you recognized it" I said, as they all paused. "So it is Broly's wristband" said Goten, as I paused. "Who's Broly?" I asked "A fearsome Saiyan who was set out on destroying Kakarot" said Vegeta. I stood there shocked. "No that can't be true" I said, as he narrowed his eyes. "It is true, he nearly killed me, my brother and my dad" said Goten, as I paused. "But... my mother" I said, as I looked up when Bulma patted my head. "There, there, no more talking tonight. I know how about I have Trunks fly you home" she said, as I paused and looked at Trunks who looked serious towards me. "No, I'm okay" I said "I insist after all it's almost dark out and your mother must be worried sick" said Bulma, as I lowered my head. "Just have her spend the night here" said Vegeta, as we all looked at him shocked. "But dad" said Trunks, as Vegeta narrowed his eyes. "Don't argue with me Trunks I am in no mood for arguments" he said walking away. I smiled happily a bit. He really is a father like figure.

I was shown a spare room and I smiled touching the soft bed. "Here are some pajamas" said Bulma handing me clothes. I smiled grateful to her. "Thank you" I said bowing, as she giggled. "Aren't you adorable" she said, as I looked at her turning around. "Uh, Miss Bulma" I said, as she turned to me laughed while blushing. "Your such a sweetheart, what would you like Rei?" she asked, as I lowered my head. "Do you think... it would be possible to find out if this Broly.... really was my dad?" I asked, as she paused and smiled. "Of course I'll help you with the testing tomorrow, but for now get some sleep" she said patting my head and I nodded. Once she walked out I got changed into the clothes she gave me and fell asleep on the bed.
