I hadn't payed my ticket, and had gotten another one, so now i had no more license!!! That meant no more groceries in the city, just overpriced crap, no more escaping the house when me and mom fight, no more driving myself to dad's house, and a possible million other things!!!.

Emily and I hung out at her house and I had walked about 3 kilometres to get there... We were playing Monopoly, until her mom called her to the living room. I heard their conversation: "What's this, Emily?" Her mom asked angrily. "My shorts... Mom I'm sorry I forgot to put them in the hamper... Please don't get mad... I'll do it right now." Replied Emily sadly... "You're grounded." Her mother Aimee shouted. "But mo-" Emily was interrupted. "I don't want to hear it. Hand me your car keys, and, tell your friend to leave." I couldn't make out the rest.

Emily walked in sobbing, and built up the strength to say: "you have to go... I'm sorry Ali (my nickname), but I can't drive you home..." I left without another word...
