SORRY FOR WHOEVER READ THIS BEFORE I CHANGED EMMA's AUNT' NAME TO LIA. BUT IT's SO MOUCH COOLER LIKE THAT. I MEAN SUSAN IS NOT A COOL NAME BUT LIA IS. AND THERE WILL PROBABLY BE MORE UPDATES THIS WEEKEND!!!!!

She froze. I froze. A very intense staring contest was going on and I was going to win. Then I think screw my mom just died I need some answers. Before I get the chance to speak, " Emma,?"

" the one and only," I say as calmly as possible.

"Oh,come here, I haven't seen u since u were a baby, now where's your mom"

I don't know what you would do but, being reminded of what happened I flopped down right there on the front porch and started crying for the first time in like 10years. My aunt just looks bewildered. I mean who wouldn't, their long lost niece shows up at your door the mother who is supposed to be with her is no where to be seen she is crying on your front porch and two teenage girls u have never seen are trying to comfort her, it's not working. I would be bewildered.

" come on let's get you inside." She says gently. " we'll talk about what's happened."

She sits me on the couch and goes into the kitchen. A 5 year old boy walks down the stairs with a shocked expression on his chubby face. He screams, " Mom there is a strange girl crying on our couch,"

"Oh, Max," Lia comes back from the kitchen, " this is Emma, she's your cousin,"

" oh why is she crying then," in a voice that is trying desperately to be a whisper but is not even close.

" I have no idea Max, but I'm going to find out."

She sits down across from me and Ava and Caro who have taken up residence beside me and asks for the whole story. I couldn't get past the first word so Ava explained it. At the part where I came in to my house she asked Max to go upstairs. He went obediently. The rest of the story she sat there listening quietly with pursed lips. At the end of the outrageous story, she says " well, I guess it's time for my explanation.

" your mother, your father, me, max we are all........ Werewolves."

WHAT?????????? DID SHE JUST SAY WEREWOLVES!!!!!

Ignoring my last comment she begins the weirdest story I have ever heard, " in this world there are supernatural beings, vampires and werewolves.We are much older than the human race. There are 1000's of werewolf packs all over the world. But there is one king, he makes the laws and his guards enforce them. His name is King Macon. His family has been ruling for several centuries, and they have been fair and just. In the werewolf world if you are part of the royal family you are untouchable, and King Macon, has two daughters and a son. There names are Jacob, Accalia, and Lilienthia. "

I let out a whimper.... my moms full name is Lilienthia. And if Lia I'd her sister than her full name has to be Accalia.

" is your full name Accalia?" Immediately knowing I would regret the answer.

" yes, " she answered.

" So basically your saying---

" please let me finish then I will answer any questions you have."

" so as I was saying, he has or had three children Lily being the oldest. Almost 18 years ago she ran away, and no one knew why. Being her twin she eventually contacted me... She told me she ran away because she was pregnant, and that she couldn't tell me who the father was because father would find out and the love of her life would be cast out of the court. So I have no idea who your father is but I do have a guess. Every wolf child at sundown on their 18th birthday, goes through the changing. Which means u will go through it tonight, but I will be there to help u. Back to the point, vampires and werewolves have been at war for centuries, my guess would be a vampire killed your mother. "

None of this was actually that hard to believe. Taking into account my lifelong amazing sense of smell, my 20/20 vision, my strength and my overly sensitive hearing. But hearing it all aloud took my breath away. Lia sat taking in my agonizing expression, but waiting patiently for my questions. So I gave them to her...

" what is so bad about someone from the royal family and someone lower then them in society."

" why wouldn't my mother stay and stand up to my grandfather?"

" does changing hurt,"

" can I ever meet my father,"

"Can I meet my grandfather"

" does this mean I'm a princess,"

All these questions spinning around in my close to exploding brain.

" for someone from the royal family to marry below them is against the rules in our society, I don't know why it's just how it is. Your mother wouldn't stand up to your grandfather because she was scared and didn't want your father getting kicked out of the pack. If your father is still at court, u will probably get to meet him because your grandfather knows u are here, and will send someone to come get u. This does mean u r a princess, u are part of a mighty line of werewolves and u should be proud of your heritage even if it is a little a wacky. You will find a way to cope, I can see you have a strong spirit.
