Chapter 10: A Barrier between Me and You

" A light in this atrocious place? No no no I can't believe this light " The girl questioned in disbelief while rubbing her eyes to make sure she was not dreaming.

This light was definitely out of the ordinary, it was moving and shifting from one place to another.

Wherever the peculiar light shifts..... new visions came into sight.

A new yet short vision appeared, confusing her even more

This light was definitely struggling to unfold something.

What can it be?

Tough the light sparked the girl's curiosity,

It puzzled her, yes; but isn't that the point?

Ans so she followed...

She followed it everywhere

She continued doing so even though she was out of breath and tired. Even when there were obstacles preventing her to satisfy her curiosity.

Nothing can stop her from following it

Alas, the journey chasing the irksome light led to some answers.

Slowing down from exhaustion, she observed the place she just discovered.

The place was dark and held something that was mysterious.

It was weirdly comfortable. So far the most comfortable from all the places she has visited.

She began to question

She was about to go back

But she saw something in the distance

Could this be a coincidence?

"Should I go and check?" She asked herself.

She went and checked but something was intercepting her from getting closer.

There was something, presenting itself as a clear barrier in between of nowhere.

She maybe confused with the weird thing, but she put all of her strength to break it

But every time she hit the aforementioned entity...

She was pushed backwards.

Finally concluding that hitting the barrier will do nothing but harm herself. She slowly made her way closer to the barrier just to see a girl

A girl who seemed familiar.

Her eyes went in deep shock as she made eye contact with the girl.

She touched the barrier with her hand as the girl on the other side did the same.

A huge electric shock was what she felt before she faded away.
