It was rather unknown to people, but a certain someone decided to do this certain challenge, he was known to be mean and cold and that nobody could stand being in a relationship with him for more than a month.

In his first year, he was known to date three chicks at the same time, or hit up a new one a day after dumping another. He successfully won every challenge of love, breaking one heart and another. He was infamous for being a known playboy, treating love as a game and quitting once he got bored, or winning once girls say they fell in love with him.

That's what the rumors say however.

At least, he's somewhat known?

Sure he is in Class 2B, a Heroic class in UA. Of course he successfully became a student in the prestigious school, he only deserved the best. Being able to enter and stay in heroic class is good enough for people to give you game but he cannot help however, being in 2B.

second best? More like, first loser.

He hated 2A ever since, up until now. He just couldn't help but think that 2B had been nothing but a shadow to those good for nothing, and boastful hero wannabes.

It could be that, or it could also be because his crush had always associated herself with them. Dang, he knew how friendly you were, you could've selected better people to associate yourself with!

That sounded quite obnoxious but it's the truth! You're close to Kendo and all, but it's so hard to talk to you without breaking off his usual character! He knows it himself, he doesn't care what he says, the first things that comes to mind is also the first thing that comes out of his mouth.

He knows that he's mean, irritating and downright frustrating everytime he tries to rile up 2A (specifically a certain ash blonde, it's quite funny to see his reactions). He's just blunt, and straight forward, that's who he is.

He isn't one to sugar coat, or beat around the bush, that's just who he is.

Speaking of beating around the bush however, he had been doing just that for the past year when it came to you. It is just so difficult! He knows he's into you, but he knows how the people around him think of him, or how you think of him.

But you all are entering third year soon, meaning graduating, meaning hero jobs, meaning no chance for him to even take you out on a date, or another date after another date-

Neito Monoma looks at you across the classroom, your eyes focused on Pony as the girl excitedly speaks about the movie you both watched last week, your lips hiding behind the back of your hand as you cover your giggles at her occasional mispronunciation of a word.

"Oi, you better tell your girlfriend to hop off my back. She's been pestering me the past few days." He hears Kendo speak, a hint of frustration evident in her voice.

"What she do this time?" He asked boredly, eyes still trained on your figure as Shiozaki joined in your conversation with Pony.

"--i swear to god, if I can use my quirk outside of school I'd beat the sh-- Hey are you listening?" She asked, making Monoma flinch in his seat. Eyes blinking as if it was open for a long time.

Itsuka's eyes trailed to the direction he was gazing at before, and saw your seat surrounded by Pony, Shiozaki and Juzo.

Her eyes narrowed at the blond, "You spot a new target? If it's any of those girls I swear, especially not (Y/N)."

Monoma turned to Kendo, "Why? You like her or something?" The male teased, he knew Kendo's sexual preference a while ago. It didn't make him look at her any less though, she is his first friend.

"No, dumbass. She's literally an angel, if you hurt her, her protection squad will come to the rescue." She boasted.

"A-what? A protection squad?" Monoma asked quizzically, an eyebrow raised.

Kendo nodded, "Mhm! We protect her from dickheads like you!"

She was joking, he knows but somehow this time it affected him. He doesn't show it but he is. Of course, a playboy like him will not be able to date a pure and angelic person like (Y/N).

The blond rolled his eyes, his attention falling onto your figure once again, this time he was caught by you. His eyes widened slightly when you glanced at him at Kendo, waving at the girl before going out to get lunch with your circle of friends.

He didn't know why his heart is beating quickly,was it due to embarrassment of being caught staring at you or was it due to anger and envy when he found you smiling at a certain 2A student after walking out of the classroom door.
