My Nightmare

I felt my skin crawl. The hair at the back of my neck stand on end... I heard the slow rumble of it somewhere. It had come for me... It killed my family... My friends... I am the only one left... Covered in blood and cowering in a dark room... It was just a story... This wasn't supposed to happen... I felt my stomach twist as I heard the scratching and clawing in the roof. Loud bangs echoed above me... Fear gripped my heart and lungs. I couldn't breath... This thing that's been haunting my dreams... My mind... My life... Has finally come for me... It dropped down in front of me. It's head was shaped like a massive pumpkin on a disfigured and miss-formed body... Its mouth sliced open almost all the way around it's hideous head... Its sharp gleaming teeth catching the pale moon light. His claw like fingers scratching agaisnt the tiles. I try to make myself small so he wouldn't get me... But through my mind flashed you... Your lifeless and limp body at my feet... Your blank stare piercing through my heart and soul... Forever seered into my mind and memory... I feel my chest split open and then...

I wake up panting and sweating... Tears running down my face... My heart thumping in my ears... It was all just a dream...

A/n

Guys usually I'm not one to get scared easily or wake up from nightmares but this really freaked me out... I'm still freaked out and its been almost two days... So I thought I'd share it on here so... Here you go... This isn't even the full nightmare... I'm honestly to scared to relive it through writing it fully... But then again maybe I'd feel better... Let me know what you guys think...
