The pure black of the night is my special kind of comfort. A canvas of black married to the palletes of stars. A night sky that greatly complements the twinkling stars. So as the moon rises and stars shine, my eyes close as tranquility envades me. It gives me inner peace that no one can offer me.
The starry night always calms me emotionally. It became a reminder to me that even though I'm lost in the darkness, the stars would always guide me and find a way to somehow brighten the wholly black. The moon, though, is a peculiar symbol for me. Being the only Luna of the Earth, it was extraordinary. Its as if it tell a whole different story that this moon means so much. That one always stands out for you ㅡ one person in a world of seven billion, although seems so small can mean a lot. And someday, I'm gonna find my Luna. I'm going to meet my moon, the one who could light up my heart. Someday.
I was staring at the city night view from my condo when a well-dressed Brianna blocked my view of the twilight and talagang nilapit niya ang mukha niya sa akin, invading my personal space.
"Veeeeee!" Bungad niya with a jolly tune. Bree clapped her hands out of joy at niyugyog ang balikat ko which made me chuckle a little.
"Why so hyper Brianna Clemente?"
Oh wait, Bree is naturally hyper pero ang pinagkaibahan lang is she is super hyper today. Like super. And it's quite creepy dahil sobrang lapit ng mukha niya sakin which give me a high quality view ng creepy smile niya. Mula doon, alam ko nang may kalokohan nanaman siyang naiisip.
"What's with your creepy smile? Lumayo-layo ka nga ng kaunti. Nakakatakot ka na ahh." I uttered habang tinutulak tulak ko yung mukha niya to prolly get her out of my sight.
Umilag siya at hinuli ang dalawa kong kamay na naglilikot na para lang itulak siya kanina. Napawi ang ngiti niya but it easily went back in a blink dahil sa tanong ko sa kanya.
"Are you planning to go out tonight, Bree?" Tanong ko sa roomate ko while I looked at her mulo ulo hanggang paa. Bihis na bihis eh. Not to mention, her full-face make up.
