Chapter 9

Marisa POV

I woke up to screaming, I think its Audrey. So I grab my bat and headed to her room. Luke was standing in the corner shocked and she just stopped screaming and kicking.

"What the hell!" Luke wispher shouted.

"She is having a nightmare about her father, just wake her up nicely and then hold her." I said as I headed back to my room. I plopped down on my bed and let sleep consume me. When I woke up it was from someone climbing on top of me. Audrey, it was Audrey. She does this every year. But she usually jumps on me.

"Not into jumping this year, are ya!" I said excitedly siting up.

"No, remember I hurt my ankles!" She said rolling her eyes.

"Oh yeah! Well how are we starting our birthday!!" I said while getting up.

"I MADE PANCAKES!!!!" She yelled while running down the stairs towards the kitchen. When I got down there as usual there was a stack of some type of breakfast food and candles on top.

"Ahhh our usual eating competition." I said. I stretched a little just to mess around. And sat down.

"Ok lets sing happy birthday then I will start the timer." So we sung happy birthday and she started the timer which gave me a one bite lead. But by the time we both got to the bottom it was a tie. That was a first, usually one wins one year and the other whens the next.

"Wow, I'm dead." Audrey said before plopping herself onto the couch.

"Me too." I said while falling onto the cold hardwood floor. We sat there for about twenty mins before Audrey got up.

"I'm going to get in the shower while you clean up since I made," Audrey said while getting up,"when I'm out you are getting in." She said before leaving. Once I heard the shower running I cleaned up.

Ring Ring*

"Hello" I said answering the phone.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY!" Calum yells.

"God there goes my ear drums." I said while walking upstairs so I can pick out my outfit.

"Sorry baby." Calum said and then giggled. I heard the shower turn off so I knew I would be shoved in by a Audrey in a towel.

"Do you need anything important because Audreys getting out of the shower so I will be getting in." I said trying to get to the point.

"Um no just saying happy birthday." He said and then I said a quick 'goodbye' and hung up.

"MARISA!" Audrey yelled

"AUDREY" I yelled mimicking her.

"Don't mess around we are leaving in one hour. You better be ready." She said walking by my door and into her room. And with that I got into the shower. When I got out I got dressed in my jean shorts and a band tee.

"What are you wearing!" Audrey almost yelled once she saw me. I looked at her and she was wearing sweatpants and Lukes t-shirt. Her blonde hair up in a messy bun and she just had some mascara on.

"I didn't know we are going lazy today." I said as I raised my hands in defense.

"Get in your sweats and lets go." Audrey said, grabbing her wallet and keys. We had gotten our license early because of some law or something ridiculous, so she has been mostly driving since I have already gotten us in a crash.

"Ok meet you in the car in a minute!" I yelled while changing into sweats. I heard the door shut and the car start. I grabbed my wallet and headed out to the car.
